Thats good to know because I've never had to get to close to something like that. Safest thing in the room 😂 Thanks for the info & thanks for watching! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
They are also installed on overhead fiberoptic lines in neighborhoods. I think they are splice/distribution boxes. There is one on the overhead line next to my garage. I watched them install my fiber last summer. The cable has two steel strands with the fiber cable sandwiched in between. The fiber strand is not physically strong enough by itself, so it needs stronger support.
That case is a splice case for fiber optic cables. You’d be okay with moving it if you need to. Just don’t drop it or slam it against anything. Always enjoy your videos. You guys be safe out there.
Those ports you took the caps off of.....those are Peete's plug adapters for taking a pressure drop across the coaxial coil. On the leaving water side that brass component the braided hose connects to is call an Automatic balancing valve. It keeps the proper flow through the WSHP.
Getting closer to 100K subscribers! Need to come out with a line of "merch" as other channels do. Good quality repair workmanship as always, thanks JMT!
Just fyi, Can't bleed air from the inlet before the strainer. All the air you wanna bleed is after the strainer in the heat exchanger. You let it all into the loop once you open both valves. But even in a medium water loop the loop or tower air vent(s) will get it. Doesn't cause any problems unless it's a small loop and it trips a flow switch or low water cut off. Don't even need to bleed it majority of the time.
Ill add a correction. This isnt made by JCI. It is either water furnace or climate master. based off of the data tag it was manufactured in Fort Wayne,IN which is where water furnace is manufactured. so safe to say its water furnace. They are now normally all Climate Master. so this one must be an older model. I forget when it was changed to climate master as who was used.
Looked like mainly that high pressure switch wire disconnected or fell off. Maybe there is no low pressure switch? Some hotels in my city use handyman that claim they are building operators and will hack until they don't know how to fix then call in you. They claim to be saving the site money, or the building think the fellow is saving them money. Usually leads to crash maintenance which is more expensive.
I'm willing to bet that transformer isn't big enough va wise or it is not wired properly 208 vs 240 as23.5 volts is very low . I've seen it in the past where the equipment acts hinky with just under 24 volts as opposed to the 26-28 volts that is usual
Mini blade fuses are common in HVAC equipment, they are also used in cars. Jumperman, Please buy a regular style fixed wrench for that common size instead of the adjustable one. Who changed the air filter and put a 2 inch in there? Did you go back? That black fiber optics thing is just plastic, there's nothing electrical in there, it's a fiber optic splice block.
That fiber optic case is completely passive, no AC or electricity involved whatsoever. Probably the safest thing in that room 😂😂

With the Pete's plug or also called "P/T plug" you can check temperature with the appropriate probe.

Your videos are always intriguing enough so that you have to watch until the very end👍👍
Nice work Jumper Man.
Thank you brother!! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
Hey JMT,
That one seemed pretty straight forward and you didn't have to insert "2000 years later" into it, ha ha!
Good job on the troubleshooting.
That's a good one 😂😂😂 The video was straight forward but finding that disconnected wire was a little tricky! Thanks for watching 🙏🤙🔧⚡️
Nice video cable guys just don’t know what we go through as HVAC technicians

JT back with another one! 👨🏾💻
Yes sir! Back at it! Thanks for watching brother! 🙏🔧⚡️

Thank you!! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
yo you dont have a MAP tool for JCI units do you? nice video, like always.
Yes bills are paid jmt good job
You already know! Thanks for watching 🤙🙏🔧⚡️

It's probably spliced out because if it trips on LP it'll created a ticket through the BMS for the on site techs.
10:07 "This smells so bad...but honestly the water is not that bad here" 😂😅🤣! Nice JT, nice! 😂
I think it's the chemicals in the water haha it smells bad but the water looks clean is what I meant 😂 Thank you! 🤙🔧⚡️
@@JumpermanTech Cooling towers usually have water treatment chemicals to prevent corrosion, mold, etc.
Nice keep up the good work
Thank you Jorge! Much appreciated 🙏 Stay tuned for new videos every week🔧⚡️
@JumpermanTech always watching
@@jorgee910 My guy🤙 Thats awesome! 🙏🔧⚡️
That fiber probably came after the equipment.
Fiber has been installed probably in less than 10 years.
Great video. Thank you for sharing
Brilliant!!
Thank you!! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
i was gonna say, those blue wires are for the low pressure switch
That is correct. Thanks for pointing that out & thanks for watching! 🤙🔧⚡️
Good job ❤
They should have just installed a stand-up unit in there lol
Seriously. So much space in this room but somehow the unit is still in a difficult spot to service 😂 Thanks for watching!! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
Poor planning.
So the car fuse hacker strikes again - they are a potential serial AC unit killer and still on the loose 😂😂😂
I alway learned from you
i think installers need to do service before doing installs....holy fuck they didnt think of service at all with that unit.
I'm with you on that you on that! You know it's bad when I can't even see the low side port to check pressure. Thanks for watching! 🙏🔧⚡️
Telecom room set for 78😳👀
I was thinking the same. All of them I've been in are set no higher than 72. Usually set on 68
Forreal! 🤯🔧⚡️
@@topher8634 Facts. 68-70 sounds right. Some places keep it lower. Thanks for watching! 🙏🔧⚡️🤙
