I was with a guy who always thought I had a plan for everything. For example when I would talk to my mother and say oh I can pay for us and he can pay for so and so. I think this is perfectly normal to mention, but he saw it as me being evil. Telling me I shouldn't talk about his personal finances and I shouldn't be telling my mother who is paying or if we are going to split it. That talking about splitting the pay was me basically telling my mother that he is broke and just making him look bad. There were a lot of things I saw as normal that he would find a way to explain how that was making him look bad. I felt like I was walking on eggshells. Didn't know what to even say to people because I had no idea what exactly would set him off. If anyone finds a man telling you how you are scheming over little things you don't even see as wrong then you better run. It was a relationship full of stress for me.

@@ohno4930nah. I have ADHD and am also a recovering addict. If you take enough adderall you’re gonna act very wild. That goes for anyone, ADHD or not. The right dose makes me just normal and able to function. But when I was heavily abusing it I was off the damn walls. Adderall does not affect every person with ADHD the same way. Some people find it makes them feel way too “high” or anxious and they can’t use it. Not that you’re saying this but it just reminded me of it while we’re on the topic, I kinda hate this idea of “if you take adderall and you have ADHD you will never get high and if you get high you don’t have ADHD” because that’s not true at all and people use that shit to say people don’t have ADHD and use it to judge addicts and claim we’re the reason people can’t get on their medication for ADHD (or pain, anxiety, etc.) when addicts are not the problem, the problem is doctors who withhold meds from people because some people are addicts. (not saying you specifically are saying that, just reminded me of some really common anti addict rhetoric and ableist misinformation ppl like to use. There’s actually an interview with the last guy (Jesse) by Cody Ko, and he said that he acted that way because he was on the verge of having a panic attack. As someone who also suffers from panic attacks, I saw that interaction through a whole new lens. He was clearly dissociative and going into fight-or-flight. I also used to use weed a lot to cope with my intense anxiety, before it also started resulting in panic attacks (because it tightens your nasal passages, and the feeling of not being able to breathe is a major trigger for my panic attacks), so him talking about him using drugs as a way to cope with day-to-day life makes sense to me. He also said that he assumed the girl he was speedating would say ‘no’ to him because he was acting so weird, but was shocked that she was actually willing to go on a date, which is why he pressed the button at the last second. The subsequent ridicule from the button and the girl is what really drove his anxiety over the edge. In the grand scheme of things, it’s fucked up that people experiencing panic attacks or anxiety attacks aren’t comfortable to talk about it because it’s not yet normalized, and it’s even more fucked up that people made all the assumptions about his character on a clip. I saw people in this comment section assuming what drugs he was on, whether or not he was a dangerous person, etc. I might also just be projecting though ❤
I feel the same way as an addict in recovery who used to use all kinds of strong drugs to cope with panic disorder, anxiety, ptsd, depersonalization derealization disorder and more. The stigma is wild. The stigmatization against addiction especially is wild how people see someone acting strange or saying bad things and immediately assume it’s because they’re on drugs like….you’re implying people who do drugs are just automatically shitty people or weird. and that the only reason someone is shitty or acting weird is because they’re on drugs, as if most bad people who do bad things arent completely sober. Most addicts are good people. Stop claiming everyone who says something bad is just on drugs, its such common anti addict rhetoric it makes me so upset. You’re further stigmatizing addiction when it’s already so stigmatized and pushing people away from getting help. It’s dangerous. I do feel bad for him. Although it doesn’t fully excuse some of the stuff he said that was kinda harmful tbh. But I hope he doesn’t actually mean or believe those things and was just so out of it. I’ve probably said some off things while in a state of panic or extra heavy disassociation more than my normal constant disassociation. He also has apparently talked about struggling with addiction, and I know how much drugs can fuck with you and how they can make you act very off. @@KingRogue I think with the same race it's more of the cultural disconnect that one could feel dating somebody of a different race, like what the guy in the video said. That isn't always true, but is more reasonable than only dating people of a certain race outside your own as it feels like a fetishization of other's body and culture. Effectively, dating within your race comes down to comfort and familiarity instead of the generalizations and fetishizations that could come from an external preference. Of course, I don't speak for everyone and these tendencies can come from many different places, but that's how it comes off to me, not as a double standard, but two separate things altogether.

Not wanting kids is a valid stance and you don't need any reasoning but lemme just quick fire some reasons I don't want kids. I don't want to be pregnant and have all the pains and morning sickness and everything else that comes with that, I don't want to give birth cus again it's sm pain and the whole process is draining both physically and mentally, I don't want to be responsible for an entire other human being, I want to keep my money for myself, I want to keep my time for myself and kids aren't all sunshine and rainbows.

As women having kids is a bit more...stressful for us biologically, we can literally die from it and then after we have to now raise a baby until it decides to leave so it's not for everyone. Of course adoption is a thing and invitro tho both can be very expensive and you don't even have the kid yet so very eww mindset especially with the US Gov't rolling back our reproductive rights.

Honestly, pressing the button after someone saying "I don't want kids", "Not at all" after saying you (really) want kids is the only relatable and real thing that's ever been on the Button. It's not the same as pressing it after a person that is not sure, but pressing it after someone is sure is just saving you both a lot of heartache (That's the gender neutral form of "I can change them" otherwise).

@@ohno4930nah. I have ADHD and am also a recovering addict. If you take enough adderall you’re gonna act very wild. That goes for anyone, ADHD or not. The right dose makes me just normal and able to function. But when I was heavily abusing it I was off the damn walls. Adderall does not affect every person with ADHD the same way. Some people find it makes them feel way too “high” or anxious and they can’t use it.
Not that you’re saying this but it just reminded me of it while we’re on the topic, I kinda hate this idea of “if you take adderall and you have ADHD you will never get high and if you get high you don’t have ADHD” because that’s not true at all and people use that shit to say people don’t have ADHD and use it to judge addicts and claim we’re the reason people can’t get on their medication for ADHD (or pain, anxiety, etc.) when addicts are not the problem, the problem is doctors who withhold meds from people because some people are addicts. (not saying you specifically are saying that, just reminded me of some really common anti addict rhetoric and ableist misinformation ppl like to use. There’s actually an interview with the last guy (Jesse) by Cody Ko, and he said that he acted that way because he was on the verge of having a panic attack. As someone who also suffers from panic attacks, I saw that interaction through a whole new lens. He was clearly dissociative and going into fight-or-flight. I also used to use weed a lot to cope with my intense anxiety, before it also started resulting in panic attacks (because it tightens your nasal passages, and the feeling of not being able to breathe is a major trigger for my panic attacks), so him talking about him using drugs as a way to cope with day-to-day life makes sense to me. He also said that he assumed the girl he was speedating would say ‘no’ to him because he was acting so weird, but was shocked that she was actually willing to go on a date, which is why he pressed the button at the last second. The subsequent ridicule from the button and the girl is what really drove his anxiety over the edge.
In the grand scheme of things, it’s fucked up that people experiencing panic attacks or anxiety attacks aren’t comfortable to talk about it because it’s not yet normalized, and it’s even more fucked up that people made all the assumptions about his character on a clip. I saw people in this comment section assuming what drugs he was on, whether or not he was a dangerous person, etc. I might also just be projecting though ❤
I feel the same way as an addict in recovery who used to use all kinds of strong drugs to cope with panic disorder, anxiety, ptsd, depersonalization derealization disorder and more. The stigma is wild. The stigmatization against addiction especially is wild how people see someone acting strange or saying bad things and immediately assume it’s because they’re on drugs like….you’re implying people who do drugs are just automatically shitty people or weird. and that the only reason someone is shitty or acting weird is because they’re on drugs, as if most bad people who do bad things arent completely sober. Most addicts are good people. Stop claiming everyone who says something bad is just on drugs, its such common anti addict rhetoric it makes me so upset. You’re further stigmatizing addiction when it’s already so stigmatized and pushing people away from getting help. It’s dangerous.
I do feel bad for him. Although it doesn’t fully excuse some of the stuff he said that was kinda harmful tbh. But I hope he doesn’t actually mean or believe those things and was just so out of it. I’ve probably said some off things while in a state of panic or extra heavy disassociation more than my normal constant disassociation. And it’s not like he was being blatantly racist or something, just saying some weird lowkey red pill stuff that I once again hope he only said because he was off. He also has apparently talked about struggling with addiction, and I know how much drugs can fuck with you and how they can make you act very off. I do genuinely hope he gets some help for his substance issues and anxiety, and I think people should be a little less quick to jump to conclusions about a person we don’t know who is clearly not doing very well and seems to be having some kind of episode giving he’s acting very off and doesn’t usually act like this.
