Last time I visited Varanasi 2 years ago. I was very chaotic, overcrowded & dirty , but it looks so changed in video. Probably govt did it to beautifies. Cleanliness is maintained…
I'm headed to Varanasi in March. From what I've worked out being a photographer is to walk the ghats at sunrise and sunset to capture the golden light, during the day get up in the alleys and photograph people and street scenes. I want to find the silk weavers area and photograph people at work. You'd also enjoy the akarna or wrestling pit at the far end of the ghats. So much to see and do. 👍📷
The painting was good but still the face looks different from you have. I appreciate their effort. Also visit BHU Campus (Banaras Hindu University campus) in Varanasi . It’s beautiful place , you can’t talk to students there about nearby places to visit. Must visit SARNATH.
u must visit also Rishikesh in Uttarakhand , "Umlingla Pass" (the highest motorable road in the world ) in Ladakh , Himachal Pradesh , Rajasthan . also the UNESCO world heritage sites like Kailasha temple , Ajanta Ellora caves etc.
Can't miss the local street food including Bati-Chokha in Varanasi. And there is usually an Aarti (Prayer ceremony) in the evening at the ghats. Enjoy the Hospitality and Chaos!
