In one day, we had 5 delicious street foods in Varanasi. I didn’t even realize until we were finished eating, but we didn’t eat any meat or chicken for the whole street food tour vlog. It was really a true vegetarian HEAVEN! We started our Indian street food tour with an amazing INDIAN BREAKFAST made of spiced potatoes and cauliflower known as Aloo Gobi. It was served with a puri and was quite spicy and very cheap. It was definitely a delicious street food to have in Varanasi India.

After this, we walked DEEP into another lane and found a MALAI milk cream spiced with saffron. It was very delicious, frothy, creamy, and sweet.
Next up, we went for another milk based street food in India, the LASSI. It was quite sweet as well and was served with a ton of pistachio! After finishing our delicious Indian breakfast street food in Varanasi, we went for a HUGE Indian lunch at a famous Indian restaurant in Varanasi. The Indian recipes here were absolutely delicious. There were some baked dumplings that were super unique, you’ll have to watch the street food vlog to find out why, but they were definitely worth coming for. All the flavours here at this Indian restaurant were spicy, tangy, sweet, astringent, and overall very healthy and we would definitely come back to eat more of this delicious food.
After this, we went for our final street food in Varanasi, the paan. It was packed with spices and very cheap. A very strong flavour that I’m not sure I would eat again, but definitely worth trying once on the streets of India
The street food restaurants in Varanasi, India, are listed below
1) Delicious Indian Breakfast Street Food Poori and Sabzi - The Ram Bhandar
2) Malai - Same alleyway as this delicious Indian breakfast
3) Lassi at Blue Lassi Shop
4) Amazing Indian Lunch Feast at Baati Chokha Restaurant
5) Paan at Keshav Tambul Bhandar

HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

For the innocent to ignorant to idiotic comments on "cooked in cowdung": it meant cowdung was used as fuel and not as ingredient. Period.
It's really awesome. That's why cow is the holy animal of india. Even cowdung can be used as a fuel. We have to need more elobration on it. It's great. I love it.

You are amazing.
Love from India
I used to live in village in india and my mom used to cook everything from that cowdung.❤I got a job and now I live in a city, sadly my parents died but I wish I can go to that time again eating that food which foreigners are making fun of. I can pay any price to get that food 😢 my parents struggle as a farmer, this was one of the reason I respect cows 🙏their cowdung was used as fuel by our family and we're all grown up drinking it's milk.❤
Welcome to my home buddy...

Anubhav is an absolute legend! Had the privilege of spending a day eating with him in Delhi a year back... such a nice (and knowledgable) guy!
SORTEDfood you shat water for days
SORTEDfood dude he made the guy literally eat cow dung
That sucks
Yes he is so knowledgable that he lets Trevor call 'ghee' clarified butter, 'chokha' mashed potato, 'daal' daal stew, 'litty' dumplings, 'achar' pickle and 'gointha' cow dung cake. And its not just about name but what he calls them and what they are, are two totally different food.
Syed Jaffer atually dumplings cooked in a cow dung steamer.
The dumplings are roasted in dried cow dung fire, dried cow dung is used as fuel...
Cow dung is not present in the dish but it's used as a fuel for fire for certain villagers to prepare food they didn't eat cow dung
Cows dung contains methane which is a fuel
@@visharadkende8838 does it matter. Pt is that it is not an ingredient but fuel
Yeah but cow dung's disgusting
@t t cowdung is one of purest fire to cook food, and it has aroma very different.

Thank You for doing a vegetarian food tour 😱🙌🏼🙌🏼
India has a biggest vegetarian population in the whole world that is we called real india ,😊😊😊 namste ,🦁🙏🙏🙏
Understand the sarcasm pls
Begitebul
@Alexandria Urbina I'm your 100th like!!!
I'm having two cows (ganga and laxmi ) , and before mansoon comes me and my dad used the cow dung to make dried uple ,which can later used on winter season as fuel .
Let's clear a few misconceptions here -
Dumplings cooked "in" cow dung are not actually made of cow dung. Cow dung is used as fuel. That wasn't animal excrement which was being eaten.
Indians in villages do apply cow dung on their walls and floors to keep pests and rodents away. It also helps in regulating temperature, I guess. However, this is mostly done in rural India and many Indians find it disgusting too.
Its not disgusting
find it most amazing way to keep your house germ free
Tanay Nayak well said bro

Just because something is a religious belief I don't need to respect it. Hope you can understand what I'm trying to say.
