We "kinda camped" @ Moss Park, FL. Plans fell apart but still had fun! ASMR camping Montero / Pajero

- We planned a camping trip at Moss Park in Orlando, FL recently but the trip didn't go as planned. Bad weather was forecasted later in the day through the weekend , some of our camping equipment ended up. broken during pre inspection like our tent (It was due to be replaced as it was over 15 years old) and my wife got called into work in which I agreed she could go in as I was planning on cancelling the trip due to the weather.
Instead me and the kids decided to make the best of it the day prior and just go to the campsite I already booked and make a day out of it and enjoy the outdoors and spend time together.
So we "kinda camped" and just spent most of the day out on the campsite and had a great time with my children. I was also able to use the rear tailgate folding table I built on our @mitsubishicarsMontero. The day ended up pretty great.

I really wished things worked out but unfortunately we couldn't control the weather and I dropped the ball checking out camping stuff earlier like our tent and a couple other things. Oh well, I am trying to get another camping trip in before the summer weather burns Florida 🥵
Best time to have fun, the phones go away, and the real enjoyment starts. Might not be the camping adventure, but you have these memories for the rest of your life.
Absolutely! When we go on these outdoor trips we really have conversations and bond and my kids end up talking about these trips as joyful and fun times.
@@itsaboutfam Our eldest, and Youngest left their Ipads at home, as they are trying to follow in my idea, of these adventures are for us. We rarely set up cameras, just usually run and gun film everything.
@@DestinationOffroad That's awesome man! That's the point of enjoying the outdoors....is to enjoy the outdoors. I have learned to be able to capture footage for these videos and still enjoy actually spending time and enjoying the moments. The video is 20 mins long out of our 10+ hour trip. I could have tried to capture every moment, but I wouldn't really have enjoyed it.
Things didn’t always go as planned, but you still had a lot of fun. I think that’s what family means.
