Small trails are disappearing in Central FL / ASMR offroad Mitsubishi Montero , Pajero

- Central Florida has seen a monumental increase from cost of living and population. In the past few years we have seen new residents moving to Florida , but that also means they need places to live.
Just 5-6 years ago, IF you knew the spots...there were 5-6 nice small local trails to drive and enjoy within 30 minutes from where I live. This little spot I have been going to along with friend and my children, and has been our low key spot for about 4-5 years. Recently my friend called me and said there are definitely signs that our low key spot may no longer exist in the near future.
In this video we take a trip in my @mitsubishicarsMontero and visit my spot and see what's going on.

An updated video will most likely be in the works as I went to visit this area today as I went for a therapeutic drive. In just several months since this video was posted...lots of the once quiet and quaint area has apartments built up on one side and the other has been cleared already in the beginning stages of new apartments being built.
My quick getaway retreat is at the beginning of the end. 😔

Development is normal, the massive closure of trails out west is significant and unwarranted!
You're right about development being normal. Central Florida development was at a steady pace till about 2-3 years ago, but intensely spiked. Some local leadership decisions on development have not made any sense and even are willing to sacrifice some protected land for development.

Thank you for the comment...I appreciate it very much😎. The 3 door versions are pretty cool and wish they sold them here in the U.S. the only generated sold the 3 door version was the Gen 1.
My rain guards are from Well Visors but I know they have them for the 5 door versions, not sure about the 3 door.

Man up in Jacksonville as well there’s so much development. A lot of the nice wooded areas/parks/trails/etc have all been torn down for mainly apartment complexes and copy paste shopping centers. I have about 5 Gate Gas stations all on the same road to accommodate most of the apartments on the main road after leaving my neighborhood. I always tell people planning to move here or people moving back that it’s much fuller than it was 10 years ago 😳
Yup... Florida in general is getting a huge influx of people moving here. We are looking to move out of Florida in the next couple of years.
Hello from Spain!, I'm looking like crazy for the rear spoiler of your pajero and I can't find it anywhere. Could you help me find another one? thanks in advance
My uncle got my spoiler for me when he went to Japan several years ago. A couple other Montero owners I know were able to find it on eBay about 2-3 years ago. I am not sure if you can find my exact spoiler on ebay.

It's an Ultra Gauge. You just plug it right to your OBD2 port and it will display all the monitoring parameters the ECU allows and you can customize what you want to see.

Unfortunately this area has now been in full construction and no longer accessible. There are some areas in the video I can access but that can change as the construction has progressed really quickly. I wanted to do an updated video...but not sure if there will be much of the area I can access.

@@itsaboutfam thank you sir. Love your truck. Yeah I’ve been looking for a while now but no luck. I did just get a diesel version hood to install on mine. But the spoiler is awesome. Might use a sequoia spoiler and make it work. Thank you. I’m Florida too.

Man I love this one but sad at the same time that Florida is getting more crowded. It's funny, politically driven mainstream media rank Florida as one of the worst state to live in but statistic shows that people move there.

Yes...A LOT of people are moving to Florida and I and many long time residents see the insane growth and change. Traffic, cost of living, and the development all over the place is soo fast it's overwhelming. I have some family and friends who hear what the media says about Florida and think it's some sort of warzone 3rd world racist everywhere place to be.
Simply..it's not.
