This is one of the best multi scenery vlogs you've ever done! From trains, to planes, to Abandoned Oz content which was awesome, and all the trip to and from. Great vlog, one of the best! That must have been a very fun day out, glad you did all the visits 👍🙌
12:03 "Hey everyone. Phil here, and you're watching SPV Sydney Planes Vlogs." There's something beautiful about South Coast stations in the evening twilight. The glow worm footage in the Helensburgh was beautiful, as well.
Phill if you were doing this on a week day you could have changed at Waterfull, Services travel between Pt Kembla and Waterfall week days and Pt Kembla and Thirroul weekends.
There is a fascinating history atttached to the railway line around this region. This tunnel was abandoned when the line was redirected and an alternate site for Helensburgh station was found. There are also many other private spur lines that took coal down to ships some of which can still be seen from northern suburbs along to Wollongong Harbour where the old line has been repurposed as a walking track around Belmore Basin. Much of the history is available on web and at small museums such as Market Street, Wollongong. One of the old steam locos can be seen in Corrimal Park. I was also a regular on the Newcastle line and its' history, especially Hawkesbury River to Woy Woy, is amazing.
It'll be good once they've finished Central renovations, or nearing completion. I'm sure they'll be able to get heaps done before I next trip to Sydney at the end of this year as we would like to visit again.
Nice trip there. I'd like to visit Jambaroo Action Park. Could hire a car but many roads in Syd are tolled. There is a train service, but nearest stations are like 6km from the park. We'll work something out for next summer come end of year and into the new year.
I’ve been to that plane museum and it was great, maybe back in 2013
That plane is soo Massive that will take a big run way to take off 12:40 ✈️🛫🛬

Planes phil
g'day
G’day! :)
Phil don't put the lights on in the glow worm tunnel. That can harm them.
did you go to thirlmere steam fest and can we expect a video on it?
Hi
Hello :)
Hold on, planes?
Lol yeah i checked out a Qantas Boeing 747 that’s at a museum near Wollongong
Check for the annual Wings over Illawarra event held in November
That’s at shell harbour airport
Why did the Train from Thirroul end up on Platform 2 at Stanwell park and not Platform 1?
possibly a freight train on the other track heading the same direction
