@@MattGarveyComics hahahahah! I think I’ve watched about 15 of your videos over the last week, just never comment. I have an 8,000 word document for the comic, it’s just background and plot setting though. Games are too good though! 😂
You can sell them however you want buddy…digital works really well BUT you need a route to market…how are people gonna by your comics digitally…how will they find them… They great thing about physical is you can sell them at conventions to grow your readership…. Digital is tougher…I know people who have Kickstarter digital books which is great but you can’t charger as much for digital versions… Webtoons is another one too, I think…but you need to get the clocks on your book and upload regular…
@@MattGarveyComics Thank you for great feedback. Have you made a video on dialogue? I’m struggling on whether my dialogue should be short or a sentence or two, depending on the scene. I’ve heard some readers say too much dialogue kills the story, and I’ve heard others say comics don’t have enough dialogue. And how soon will Vodou Cowboy be available for purchase? Please send me a link. Thank you!
Your wish is my command Tips On How To Write Comic Dialogue [2022] ruclips.net/video/4WsI5HWbV1g/видео.html As for vodou, it’ll be available as an add on for my next Kickstarter very soon, but sadly won’t be up on my site until November time
Hey matey, online printers are great, but you gotta know what you’re doing setting the files up to print. As for costs for shipping. Graphic your comic, cardboard envelope…weigh it then work out the shipping costs to your country and overseas.
Hi Matt, Thanks a lot for your videos. You got me hooked after watching your video on how to create a video for a kickstarter project. I'm an indie comic book creator based in the UK [Walsall to be precise]. I would like to contact you beyond this platform and seek your assistance on how to launch a successful kickstarter and also sell my comic books. Kind regards buddy.
These videos are so helpful! I’m just playing with the idea of writing a comic series myself. These are really informative
You’re welcome buddy, glad you’re liking them.
Now stop playing and get writing 😜

Hi Matt,
I absolutely love your content. Very informative.
In efforts to lower costs, can creators sell digital comics only and still see success?
