For other viewers who gonna comment that this thing will fail and getting clogged in the same manner as MSI AIO models, please note that this model is an ASETEK based design, the same supplier as that using within ASUS’s/AORUS’s/Alienware’s/HP’s/NZXT’s/Phanteks’ AIOs, unlike those other models with clogged and recalled fiascos that have Apaltek’s design, which also behind many of ENERMAX’s and Fractal’s clogged models.
I'll buy it and some people are complaining about the noise on the pump, BUT I'm someone who doe snot care about the noise a computer makes unless is a laptop.
Awesome 👏 video man I just bought this AiO and you’ve explained everything better than any other video I’ve seen love the way you made it very informative questions I had for other videos you’ve literally added into your stuff sir I’m subscribed to your channel great content buddy love it.
I bought the S280 variation after suffering with Apaltek's trash aka Enermax Liqmax III. Clearly some users do not find out that a high noise level is inevitable when fans are running on a high RPM. No fan can beat Silent Gale in terms of noise. As good as Kraken, but quite underrated.
I have had this cooler since it's launch as it also cools my 12900k. It is a good cooler and easy to set up, screen is great too. A huge beware is I've had to reinstall MSI center two/three times because the CPU temp would be stuck at 42C or another temp with load and without load. Meaning it would misread the temperature of the system. I let MSI know about this around the time they had recalls of the R cooler models.
Thanks for the heads up. I’m putting this into my editing PC. I love the look and it’s cooling performance was great. Hopefully they fixed the error you had.
Swapped my NZXT kraken to this one as I upgraded my case and the nzxt was almost 4 years old. The temps between this and the Kraken (360mm too) are quite similar on my 5800X3D, few degrees lower on the msi thanks to 7 gen Asetek. MSI has the plus of the mini fan and imho it complete the look of the build by removing the gaps between the mobo vrm and the aio pump itself. Love the way it looks in my o11 vision
im a little late i was wondering what your temps were like with the new cooler? im looking to upgrade as i have a 7900x and no matter the game im playing the aio i have now can never keep it below 75 degrees c and even idle just watching youtube it still hovers around 70-73 do you think this would help a lot?
Thanks for this review... been reading & watching a lot about this cooler. I just ordered the S360 1 hour ago along with a MSI MPG Velox 100R Case ... should keep my i5-12600K nice and cool.... Finally some Farcry 6 my 3060 should be okay for FPS Merry Christmas What do u think of the MSI Meg z690 Unify motherboard?
I really like it, but does it have a fill port like the DeepCool LT720? The main reason I dislike AIOs as opposed to air is that eventually the water will work its way out. The DeepCool solves that issue.
I currently have a liquid freezer II 360 and wanted to replace it with this AIO but when I heard this noise from the pump I came to the conclusion that it is not a good idea
if they know whats good the cooler would work better but we are not there yet for them to make a air cooled water system good as it users air still lame as it is
MSI center is not pick up this cooler and when I called MSI they said it only works with a MSI board and that’s crap because I would of loved to know this before I paid a hefty price for the screen and that’s the thing that doesn’t work and none of the video reviews that I watched or anywhere on the website or on the box did it say that I need a MSI MB for this to work.
That’s not true. I have the S360 plugged into an ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard right now and MSI center works the same as it did on an MSI board. The motherboard manufacturer doesn’t matter as long as you plug in the USB header from the pump head.
@@DannysTechChannel I talked to 3 MSI reps, and I figured the same because I have also seen builds on RUclips and else were, but according to all the reps the cooler will function but no support on the controls or the screen. What version of MSI center are you running?
I plan to buy it, but still need to clarify things like; - Does it have a separate fan controller like Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT? - Do I need a fan controller when I buy S360? Many thanks :)
I said this in the last comment, but I probably should have put it in the video, this AIO is a different design than the standard Coreliquid series that have had clogging issues in the past. I’ll make another video with long term results in a few months.
@@DannysTechChannel You are probably right well one would really hope MSI got the message and totally overhauled their designs and suppliers a follow up would be great

Good to know! 🤔

Should have read that manual. Your radiator is upside down. The hoses should never be up.
It doesn’t matter. As long as the pump is not at the top of the loop, it’s good. But thanks for the criticism.

$30 cheaper than the asus one which has 3x$30 noctua fans, 1" larger lcd and a fan controller with argb headers
Are you talking about the Strix LC III?
I didn't mean to meddle on a year old video, I was just referring to your statement at 7:30
I currently have a liquid freezer II 360 and wanted to replace it with this AIO but when I heard this noise from the pump I came to the conclusion that it is not a good idea
Yeh, it’s pretty loud unless you set your own curve. It’s because of the high rotational speed.
try and testing with a old video card like a 980 TI and a AMD 5900x then see how lame water is as a air cooler will kill it so easy
I have one and its pretty cool!

Version 2.0.6.0
skill issue

no controller needed....benefits if you have an msi MB
is it really quiet? I have msi c360 but it's very loud when I play intense game 🥲 13900kf
It is. It’s different fans and pump than MSI’s other style coolers
this coller god for 13700k cpu ???
Question, where thit you get that moving lucky gif?
It comes with the software as one of the preselect options
Is this was destined for another MSI AIO recall? I'm sorry time & time again they have has issues

idk wtf you are on about but the only aio that had issues was the R versions. k series and s series is killer
After how many msi aio s have had clogging problems I would skip msi for sure
This is a different design than the standard coreliquid series. I should have mentioned that in the video. I heard the same stories.
Can i cool my fast i9 13900ks with it?
You can sure try!
WAY overpriced. $370 CAD which is more than the Lian-Li or NZXT coolers.
