I thought that might be the case, I have watched many soapers scoot straight from coconut to olive and not give themselves a chance. Also watched some disappointments...plus you know what milk brings to the mix, stearic, palmitic etc, not just "creamy lather" you actually know why...
Have you ever noticed in soap calc..Milk, any bovine, I did and applied it to the recipe, not a water discount, and just went about like any other soap...not looked back at any of the substituted water techniques since, all the burning, scorching, just does not happen. And just 10% of the recipe, milk, makes a big difference..please, I hope I don't sound preachy, or a smarty pants, this way I have been making milk soap for years, has not let me down..goat, cow, butter milk all work, hot or cold process..
I have lots of soaps to make and I will definitely be trying this. Especially with my goats milk recipe. Thank you for sharing this. I had never noticed this before.
I love it 😍 beautiful color!!
Also love the texture cutter ❤️
These are beautiful❣️❣️❣️
Thank you! 😊

I did not notice actually. Lol. I will add that next time. Thank you!! ☺️
@JustNanJustSoap I went to soapcalc and didn’t see anything about milk. Where did you find it? I make 100% goats milk soap and would like to see this.
I believe she said it was under the oils and waxes drop down menu under "milk fat, any Bovine".
@@keleighsoaps got it. Thank you, I would have never found it.
