Playing Superman is a double edged sword , you will be type cast for life but at the same time you got to play the biggest Super hero of all time, no other super hero is type cast like Superman , today its not quite so bad he will still have a career , but had he not play Superman he would get far more big roles.
Hes an ok actor at best plus he looks like comic book superman brought to life. Christopher Reeves came from Juliard and couldnt shake the superman stigma.

Taking more films over DCU in the way. But nope ,Cavill crossed paths with corrupted and wrong people in that point of his live and, sadly, he is paying for the others broken plates... Henry's body was shown and not his face in Shazam because he had a mustache that he could not get rid of for another movie. I'm a huge fan and hope his career takes off in MCU, James Bond, etc., despite these setbacks. Guy Richie seems to like to use him in his movies.
Didn't he get a deal with Amazon to pretty much have full creative control and star in a Warhammer 40000 series? Or did that fall apart? It sounded like he learned that he can't trust these studios to do right by these more "nerdy" titles and was just going to take his beloved tabletop game and run with it
The introduction of James Gunn had a lot to do with that unfortunately and that is why I want Gunn's new vision of Superman to bomb at the box office and every other DC project he is involved in.. Don't like the guy simple as that.
