He used 245/35/18 has a 1 finger gap not noticeable, looks really good compared to stock and rides great. I told him to add a spacer in the rear so it could be flush as he is using 18x9.5 +30 wheels. The front pokes out a little bit , but not too noticeable from far away.
We put kyb shocks with H&R lowering springs on this car. The ride was really smooth . I really didn’t think this video would have got this much views , sorry I didn’t go further into detail.
I think there was , but in the back you don’t have to disconnect any wiring the suspension doesn’t fall to far down , they are still being held up buy the supporting arms , your basically lowering the lower control arm out of the way.
Just a tip, don’t use your torque wrench to loosen nuts, it’s not good for it and would need calibration more often and may damage it. Good video though.
Thanks , the video is a little deceiving , the tool used to remove the bolt was a 1/2 In. Drive Extendable Ratchet, the ratchet extends further out , I got it at harbor freight. Looks like a torque wrench but it is not.
Don’t want to risk on damaging the wires , or the loose spindle can possible pull away and damage the cable, also you have to remove it from the shock. It’s quicker to disconnect it as shown , very easy with a short fine tip screw driver.
Nice job sir ! H&R are good springs. I had a set of H&R on my 93' Stang Cobra
Yeah the ride is comfortable
H&r springs are the best...I got some on my is250 too.
The springs have a nice drop and comfortable with new shocks
Dope..did the same about 4 weeks ago. H&R feels nice and sits nice. 08 250awd
Yes sir , we also installed new shocks , it rides great and looks low , the car stance looks good.
did they get rid of your rear wheel gap. my cars rear looks so high and i don’t like it

best video out there! thank you so much
Anyone else struggle with rear. Everyone says the rear is easier but it was definitely harder on this gen lS
Did you replace the whole strut assembly or just the shock absorber? You didn't show the re-install of the rear shock after you removed the old strut.

Are there ABS sensors on the rear wheels as well ?

I guess i missed the part were you showed how you lowered it lol what did you do with the springs
You are correct , I gonna rename the tittle , how to remove your IS250 suspension. Thanks for the feedback

Damn you a boss, making it look ez
After 1 year, would you still genuinely recommend this set up? I want to slightly lower my IS but I do not want to lose the Oem comfort too much.
The shocks made it real comfortable also depends on your wheel tire setup.
Looks nice. Is that 18” or 19” and what is his tire setup? Thanks
So my friend went with 18x9.5 + 30 all the way around no rubbing issues , using 245-35-18 tires. It looks really nice for a daily driver
Why are you guys take the ABS sensor???
