Great video thanks for sharing! You saved me some money by thinking of using cardboard instead of wood. Hope your kitties are still doing well they are so cute.
When I was a child I made a paper one working with what I had. Over the years I have been discovering all that can be done with cardboard and other paper products. This project was part of that discovery. Check out my playlist "Doll House Creations" for greater in depth instructions. More to come!
your voice is so calming. I'm having a bad day, but listening to you talk sure helped me some. I still don't know how to make stairs for my doll house. I have more ambition than I do talent I'm afraid. It was nice to watch this put together anyway, and it does give me more of a general idea than I had before, so thank you. I will take advice from here as well as other resources until I can get it right.
We all have bad days every now and then. When you find yourself frustrated while working a project it is best to set it aside and come at it another time. Making stairs is one of the tedious tasks of dollhouse making. I suppose one needs to be in a good frame of mind and having patience when making it. It is far better to enjoy what you are doing. Thanks for watching.
May I also say if you do two tone paint make the one color slightly darker paint the boards let it completely dry go over it with the lighter color use an old toothbrush to go across the top keep it in One direction one swipe it scratches off the paint to reveal the under color you'll get a wood grain look then when that's dry use a gloss sealer. You can find a can of it at any local craft store it gives you a natural wood polyurethaned finished look
Thank you attempting stairs before never came out right only use cardboard and other recycled materials and I have the same furry helpers when I'm crafting four cats 😂
This house is not a perfect 1:12 scale so it may not be helpful for me to give you the exact sizes that I used. You would need to work out your stringers to fit your house (ceiling to floor height)

Glad it was helpful! I still have them. They are big now but still just as much fun.
My niece asked me to make a dollhouse and I did with paper but I want to make something better, and then I found your channel! I’m so in love tysm ❤

I’m so glad I found you. You have saved me a lot of money. I’m working on exterior molding and I have lots of chip board. Thank you .
I will have a new video on this project coming Friday

Your cat, theyre beautiful by the way, does exactly what my cat does with her tail!

Nice cay funny
Many many thanks. Yes, my cat companion has quite the character. She finds a way to get into many of my videos. She is so playful and I love her.
Ma'am may I know what the sizes are? I kind of don't understand

Can you share a video on how you made the stringer template? Love your work!@@DebraCarmona
