    I honestly Love Kurt, I remember watching his videos from 13 years ago when I was 18 years old I’m 31 now and just watching his new content makes me happy that he is still healthy, strong and still doing what he loves. God Bless Good Sir.

    Osu, thank you Kurt for making these kickass short videos. The concepts and details are GOLD, esp for white/blue belts.

    One thing I wish you could have shown was your leg movement when passing from the side

    Dang we can't see the camera angle from the legs, which is the most important part of this move... thank you regardless

    First of all, good to see you again. My question would be, with your hands occupied under his back, isn't the neck left unprotected?

    • @sho.yoshida
      @sho.yoshida 3 месяца назад +1

      When passing, your hands are going to be gripping to pass, not defending your neck. Your head position is what prevents chokes. In this case, your chin is “biting”over their hip and you’re smearing your face and chest/shoulder on them to prevent any grips being made on your neck.
      If they managed to get a choke grip (ie. cross collar) at any point before/during your pass, then yes, retreat a bit to grip break (2-on-1) before going back into a pass.
