Love watching your videos on a Saturday morning before cricket. I managed to hit my first competitive 50 last week, and I think your videos really help in getting used to seeing the ball out the bowlers hand. This is probably my last season of village cricket before heading off to London town, and it isn't the same playing on a municipal city pitch. So really happy to get my 50 before then. Will keep watching your channel and wish you all the best.

I think that behind the flashy Go-Pro helmet, production values, etc, the reality is he is just an average cricketer, quite fortunate to have the amount of subscribers he has, and took a total punt in leaving his full time job to pursuit this as a career. His on-side play is, quite frankly, pretty bad. So many opportunities (not just this game) to flick it on the on-side for a quick single, to at least rotate the strike. Don't get me wrong, not saying he is a bad player, just average at best. Imo the Go-Pro helmet does not help, and increases the pressure, so he thinks twitce about playing his natural game. For one game, maybe he should ditch the Go-Pro completely and perhaps this will help him to play how he would naturally play. But to keep and increase his views and subscribers he will probably continue using the Go-Pro. Double edged sword imo.
Great to see their captain Toby Davies again, one of the few people to compliment my singing on the way back from a game in Bridgwater. The fact I can remember the exact moment should explain how rare it is. Looks like he has become an even more formidable batsman, and even his off-spin has improved! Unlucky way to get out, 99 times out of 100 that's probably just going straight into the ground instead of popping up in the air.
Think this level is too much of a step up Gareth unfortunately. It’s not about ‘form’ or ‘going through a bad patch’, I just think the bowlers are too smart in this league. You have no strength in your shots. You can't hit 4's and 6's. You will cost your team the match with your poor batting in the future. Try hitting harder
Do u people play like cricket on the countryside or county cricket or some state lever..can u reply
i thought you were a bit stiff, some nice offside strokes going to the field or just for a single. Seen you score some scratchy 30s and 50s with far worse timing. But i do think you need to be a bit more positive with some of those lollipops you bunted for dots.
