This was such a good show and like how they made Wolverine a father figure for everyone
And storm was mother figure 👍
they both acted like parental guardians instead of the original comic book version
Fun fact: This show was the first to introduce X-23 and because she got popular in the show Marvel made her an official Marvel Character

I wish this series continued on to season 5 but I liked how the series ended on a good note, no cliffhangers but rather satisfying.

Cool show! I am watching it for the first time on Disney+. It was fun for me to realize that, like many shows of its time and genre, they relied on a lot of outstanding Canadian VA talent. Therefore several of the actors in another beloved animated/anime "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" play major roles in this show. The voices of Trowa Barton (RIP), Treize, Quatra, and Duo Maxwell are all on Xmen evolution giving some great performances.
Great upload. X men evolution is just a fantastic show. Great character designs and arcs. I'd love a live action version of the show

I love how Stan Lee knows jack about the characters he created. Also the disrespect to Jean, she’s the most powerful x-men and he’s like… mmm what’s her face

I really love the idea of them going to school normally, and the orange wolverine uniform is so awesome, I like how they would always set up plots that the next season would work on, also goth rogue: perfection, would be great to find more making offs of other marvel shows and movies.
Megan Black looks like she could’ve perfectly portrayed this version of Rogue in live action too!

Back in the day what attracted me to this show in the first place was the style, everything from the music, to the clothes, to the cars, they even grabbed the most 2000s haircut and perfectly fitted it for Logan, not even the movies thought of that lol. This show was the coolest thing ever and it just so happened to be super relatable too, in so many ways.
Also, I was hoping for them to talk about the constant showcase of the female character's feet lol. I just rewatched the show with the upcoming X-Men 97 and one thing I realized is all the female characters are wearing some sort of sandal 24/7, in New York... even Rouge would take off her Docks from time to time lol. This show would explain my fixation with redheads, goth girls and feet 😅 🤣
Literally, other then being Storm's nephew, it's so easy to rewatch season one and imagine Spyke as Bobby Drake. The youngest of the team, skateboarding evolves to his ice sliding, spikes are just icicles he is blasting, etc.
This was my show way back when it came out and I was hooked. I re watched it many years later and still
enjoyed it then and now.

I do wonder if Spyke is a partial owned character with Fox or whoever helped to produce this show, seeing as the Evan Daniel's Spyke never made the transition to the comics? However, this is where X-23 was created and she showed up? I enjoyed his character and where he was going with his Armadillo structure and being alongside the Morlocks, and being Storm's nephew was an enjoyable connection bringing more Family dynamics to the team

@@lucas.c5393 o universo de X-Men evolution faz parte do multiverso da Marvel dos quadrinhos, no evento Secret War todos os universos foram destruídos, menos o universo 616 e o Ultimate, eles tiveram que se misturar pra sobreviver, o universo de X-Men evolution não teve um final muito agradável

I remember watching the first episode in 2000 on Kids WB and recognizing at least a dozen voice actors from the English dub of Gundam Wing that aired earlier that year on Cartoon Network. Scott McNeil as Wolverine is second only to Cal Dodd's. I also like Steve Blum but as Wolverine he's nothing compared to the other two.
I disagree, Scott McNeil is on par with Steve Blum and Cal Dodd, his performance is gold.

It wasn't till about S3 where I felt it found its footing.

Man, it's been 16 years, everything is changed, X-men themselves are not that popular, people who worked on EVO are scattered, and father of the show Boyd Kirkland is no longer with us. Plus, now X-Men are belong to Disney, and in public
consciousness there's only movies and 90's cartoon, so there's no reason to bring it back to the fans because there's not enough of them.

This portion of the video is about a different and more modern approach to the X-Men mythology, it's characters and their stories, that's also means a different structure of the narrative, means, updating your story telling for current audience, because 90's aren't 2000's, things changes.
Plus what is 90's X-Men did better than Evolution? Just being comic accurate?
