I’m really digging Toad’s design, like how he has bulging eyes & his legs are out of proportion to the rest of his body like an actual toad.
This series arguably made Toad a likable character. His theme song is also badass too.
Sadly the X-Men are no different than the Brotherhood of mutants when it comes to how they treat Toad.
When Toad joined the X-Men he was their Janitor.
I mean, janitors are important because people are too lazy to pick up their own shit. They pretty much gave him an important job

Toad was so funny. He always made me laugh. And feel happy. Even though he's a villain.
He's not exactly what I'd call a villain same with some of the other X-Men antagonists

Hang on, 20:33 Toad snatches two metal batons being controlled by Magneto assisting Mystique, then throws them at Sabertooth with enough force to embed them in metal and rock. Little slime ball has got his moments.

I love this version of Toad best btw. He was cool, swift, more of a teenager than a gross human-toad hybrid.
Toad was a bit nerfed in this series. In the comics he could break bones with a single kick and strangle people with his tongue.

Before X-Men 2000, he was a non-stop joke character. He became slightly more cool after it while still retaining some of the pathetic nature of the older comics.

1: Toad and Nightcrawler are not 'both part of X men' so you can mark that one off. 2: don't believe every damn photo you see. 3: There aren't always together. 4: This one is the simplest one, do they have the same last names? No so, therefore, they are not...brothers!
