Coming to Hua Hin in August for a few weeks. Can’t wait!
Water storage tank (3k-5k liter tank) at the house is a must to ensure getting thru shortage or supply interruptions during water-work maintenance.

8. You have to peel the durian shell before having it. 😁🤭
Be aware that the vegetables and fruits might be supersprayed with poisonous stuff, the controls on that are not even close to being as strict as what you are probably used to. Wash wash wash it, be careful, not as "healthy" as they look in many cases.

FYI, Hua Hin has been and is still problematic about water, but most newer houses do have and underground or huge tanks to store was, depending on the capacity of the tanks, you could actually go off grid for a few weeks! I have an over 50 year old summer there, and the whole foundation was a giantic water tank (Cement)……sufficient enough for the summer months.

Thank you for your time and posting. I'm checking out VN in October, to see if I want to retire there. :) I lived in Port Douglas, Queensland, AU for two years. That weather never bothered me. Not sure yet, either Airalo or Holafly for VN. Thanks again. :) WHAT! Favorite Aussie snacks... They have meat pies??? I miss them so much.

Great vlog Lloyd. What would a ballpark cost be to buy a two bedroom apartment / condo / villa in Hua Hin in AUD? Do you know if this is easily done or is it like Bali where you need a local to co sign so to speak? 👍
foreigners are allowed to own condos, not land.

Bangkok's poor air is largely due to poor pollution. Due to the large amount of agricultural burning on the Cambodia side and the direction of the wind blowing into Bangkok.
The bad weather in Chiang Mai is due to the fact that Chiang Mai's landscape has mountains surrounding the city until it becomes a pan basin. and with neighboring countries including Myanmar and Laos, including hill tribes who like to burn for agriculture. This causes the air to blow in and become congested in the Chiang Mai city area, so it cannot be vented out.
Do you guys speak thai since you live there or are learning? Just curious! If so maybe a video on that? ☺️
Hospitals are better than in Oz, by a mile !!!! Low season is the best time to travel to Thailand ! Groceries Thailand has it all !!!!!
I agree I grew up in Hawaii and Hawaiian Time is just like Thailand. How is the deal going with taxation on income brought there after the 6 months? Please I am moving from Florida to retire at 60 but I am not paying America and Thailand I need an attorney in Thailand and I haven’t even gotten there but since 1990 I have been visiting and Vietnam is my favorite but difficult to retire unlike Thailand but half and half will work! Looking beautiful Mandy I hope your baby is December third my birthday and I am also a wood dragon! Rock on Beautiful Lady!
