And also a Main problem that these type of scooters won’t run is because you need to clean out the Jets inside the carburetor

the starter interlock should be deactivated by the application of EITHER the right or left brake lever. also, there is a contraption that will allow you to lock the left brake handle in the 'on' position so that you don't have to hold the brake applied for starting troubleshooting. additionally, i have found that the connector from the start wire to the ECM sometimes gets burned/corroded where it plugs into the ECM causing the starting problem you describe. and it is probably too late, because i imagine that by now you have discovered that these machines have an electric fuel pump, and simply turning on the ignition fills the carburetor with whatever is in the gas tank.

Yep. But everything was nasty anyway. I can’t remember if I replaced the fuel tank or not. It’s been a minute. Lol.

Been working on cars, mowers, you name it, since the mid 1970's, motorcycles off and on, 70's and mid-80's, then I had to raise three kids and one ex-wife which was a sabbatical of sorts, then back into it into the 90's through today. I worked on lost of stuff, fire apparatus, ambulances, nothing is off limits from my debauchery. Thanks for the comment and consider subscribing/liking/sharing.
