Let me know if you've painted this model and how you got on with it!

Great video! Appreciate the bit review and fragility warnings; really good addition to the video.
I’ve built two Ahrimans now and both piece 18 (the smoke) has snapped on the sprue right at the spot you had your stress mark.

Thanks! It's a great model if you've got a bit of patience isn't it. Most of GWs modern stuff has some kind of weird join placement or fragility, I guess it's just a tradeoff for having such fine detail / dynamic poses with lots of negative space.

What is your opinion on painting everything on the sprue, then putting it together and touching it up (where you've rubbed the paint off with glue haha)? :3

I've rarely done that, so can't speak with much experience, but it doesn't work for me. I kind of think if you want a quick tabletop finish, just build the model fully first and if you want to spend longer for a nicer finish I don't like the risk of messing up the paint when clipping off painted bits. If it works for other people though, I'm all for it!
