Why the hell would you need ankle support from driving that would be a hinder. That's the point of the heel is so you can use your foot like a lever @@jameshawkins8966
The last driving shoes I owned were Piloti. Piloti went out of business about 10 years ago but has now come back. Driving shoes do make a big difference in driving experience.
I actually recommend this shoes as a necessity, I daily two standards to college and for the past two years these sneakers have seen it all! I have the high top puma driving shoes. I wear them everywhere and everyday, theyre comfy and for long trips are the best, they allow your heel to pivot perfectly for heel and toe shifting and the thin soles are perfect for getting a feel of the clutch. Really good shoes wish they didn’t discontinue the high tops!!!
Over 30 years ago I watched the WRC in New Zealand. At the stage end I noticed the shoes the drivers were using. Suede models very similar to your Pumas. At the time I thought they'd become a fashion style.
Some grippy tennis shoes that aren't over cushy usually do the job for me. I usually drive my six speed rx8 with regular puma suedes, chucks, or NB 574s on

I must say driving shoes are necessary for manual....if you are planning on driving with smoothness and connection. I have tried awesome New Balance skate shoes and Air Force 1's and other great daily shoes. However, they are difficult to feel the gas pedal and also raises your heel a bit on your clutch foot so that your natural clutch pressing motion is slightly off and difficult to drive with absolute smoothness.
Love the look, but I’ve struggled with how narrow they are. Yes, it’s because they’re great driving shoes, but just too damn narrow. I used to wear Diesel in the early 2000’s and they were perfect
i've been wearing puma speedcats for years. great shoes! recently converted to piloti avenues. they look really good, can wear them to work and feel great while driving. Need "quirks and features" of the shoes LOL!
Hey Jory, nice review! Added these to my wish list for in the future. You should look into getting a Cobb shift knob for your STI. I put one on my 19 STI and it made a HUGE difference in driving the car and is a joy to shift.
driving shoes are a MUST why? because they have thin soles for better feel for the pedals they have great traction to prevent slippage i once wore a reebok club c 85 that has thick asf soles and i cant feel the clutch very well its a nightmare then i switch to a converse which are great even tho its doesnt have ankle support i can still feel the pedals
I really like the look of these shoes and im thinking about buying a pair just for the looks. I do love driving but per now im driving an old automatic mitsubishi outlander, so i typically avoid driving if i can😂 Nice review dude!
If you drive a manual sports car a nice pair of driving shoes are necessary. When I have my every day addidas on it feels clunky and vauge...I normally take my shoes off if I'm not in a driving shoe...l0l
All right are driving gloves essential when driving a sports car or are they just for looks... Driving shoes are a lot like wrestling shoes ... Yes my son could wrestle in tennis shoes but wrestling shoes were way better I believe the same way with when you're driving a car especially if you're a sports car enthusiast...
Jory, speaking of " Loss of Grip", with Gas & Brake Pedals. What's up with those folks; that insist on driving while wearing Flip-Flops ??? Talk about, an Accident waiting to happen ! btw - You may want to check out 'Piloti' Driving Shoes ? ... Very "su - ave" ! ;-)
So weird. I just ordered mine. Look em up on YT, and sure enough the time teller bought/has the same ones. Same color as well. Honestly didn't know you had another channel.
DRiving shoes have separate soles under the heel and the toes. It is for flex in the shoe when "heel and toe" driving. Those are not real driving shoes.
@@Les_Grossman exactly lol it’s like when I wearing sketchers for when you want to be comfortable and walk most of the day. I wear my vans or boots for occasions most of the time or when I want to go out somewhere decent.
'Walking around on the floor of my place'.
What a way with words he has.

Gotta be comfortable when you’re cruising. I like converse high tops, they are narrow which is great in an old manual V8.
Converse doesnt even have ankle support id rather go for some futsal indoor shoes or some new balances

Absolutely an awesome episode!

do you wear everywhere, even outside of driving your car?
@@ChiemyChanga yes I beat the crap out of them to be honest

Wow I’m just shocked you mentioned and recommended Expert Lucas Naved. I thought people don’t know him… he is really awesome!
@Victor Whaley With his guide I was able to transfer my XRP from Uphold, his strategies are second to none.
Appreciate the review. Just might give them a try. Taking the 991 up to Big Bear Lake in the morning. Can’t wait.
IG sent me! Love this new channel. Those pumas look good.
I like wearing my red suede Jordan 21 as drivers ; )

Had mine for about 6 months now. Love em they're so light. But the stripes on the side have almost turned black.
Why do they make slapping sound when running with them
I’m like damn this dude look just like Jory from one of my watch channels. A true doppelgänger indeed.
Wouldn't Converse All Stars do just as well because they are thin and grippy? I'm sure they will help with heel toe driving (I miss my 3rd pedal)

What next Jory do you need a driving watch to go with your driving shoes 🤔

Don't need them, but shoes that don't get in the way at least are a huge plus during spirited driving.

Good video - enjoying the new content
If you want to keep your other shoes from wear on the back you need this
I bought a set of the limited release turbo speed cats. Haven’t worn them but I like them
Love the shoes, they look good even out of the car
Very nice Jory!
Perhaps not specifically for driving, but for skating and for all-around great traction, I use the Ecco Biom Venture GTX
I truly had no idea there was such a thing as driving shoes.
Does sparco make them too match may car, black and burnt orange
I've been using Adidas Lite Racer Adapts for driving. I prefer them.

My grandpa gave me some puma shoes with the Ferrari logo I just learned that they are racing shoes
The shoes look nice! Geared for driving. Great color.
Hi T3, use to have a pair of Adidas Goodyear trainers in white. Brilliant shoes, don’t own any, but might do again.
Awesome, I love them!!!❤

Cool new channel T3!
Don't forget the heel toe when down shifting
Well, this has been educational
i think it depends on how much you drive if you should get a pair or not, but they are looking nice!
Hello Jory! here helping for the algorithm
Nice! Remind me of the Adidas monaco/tuscany goodyears. They have tyre rubber and cool racing suit style fabric.
love the tuna on nato
I like to drive stick with giant hiking boots and call it driving on hard mode
Amazing kicks

I find for me, driving shoes are comfortable for daily use
Interesting....Thanks
Honestly I have clunky feet and wear nike air max so driving shoes would help with catching on the pedals!!
Are these true to size? Or should go up half a size?
True to size!
Didn't know these existed!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Check out Xero shoes they are super awesome for driving
Don't care for driving shoes, but those are some nice shoes
Nice kicks.
I just order one puma SD. Driving shoes when I drive my civic😆
I just wear sneakers or boots, they are all comfy.

Yes and NO. Love my Chucks when I’m driving my 1964 Corvette. I do wear those puma in my sprint car
I like flip-flops for driving.
Imagine saying you have an STI 😂
I want a pair in red so bad I can taste it.
Update: My blue Puma Speedcat OG + Sparcos are coming tomorrow! I already had red Pumas and since blue is my wife's favorite color....
Looks like F1 shoes 🤙
I drive allways barefoot, better feeling for pedalwork

Lmao no one needs “driving” shoes. That’s like tv watching shoes

I wear sandals to watch TV.
No one needs working shoes as well. Or running shoes, or hiking shoes or hydro shoes. Good old white NB can do it all.
