I love that they started the India version. The cultural differences always make for more entertaining episodes when we get to see different kinds of gowns. I really love that with these ones ALL the dresses are always different colors. It makes it so different(for me, anyways, considering I'm used to the typical white dress tradition being American). I'm all for it.

I’ve said this before, and it’s pretty easy to look up: white dresses are only used for funerals. If you wear them at a wedding, it’s like a bad luck charm… which implies that the marriage is already dead.
      Edit: not completely true.

It makes me very happy that the show is not sticking to only the traditional red-lehenga-wearing brides to showcase what an Indian bride is. I really love that they've introduced this version of the show because honestly, India deserved to have its very own version. Our version is a LOT more different than the existing versions and we would relate to this one more ❤️❤️
Honestly as being born and brought up entirely in India, I personally would not enjoy this exact kind of experience because I'd ask for a lot more options than they show here. I'd like to choose some outfit myself rather than they already having a panel of outfits selected for me. I'd like a broader spectrum than they're offering here.
And tbh that's how mostly Indians shop. This is just a bit more boujee version because I feel somewhere they want to keep the pattern of the show intact so it's hiding the real Indian essence somewhere..
Still enjoying this version, please bring more episodes.

The saree would have worked if the blouse would had more work like looked heavy because saree doesn't has much work like embroidery and mirror work so blouse should have been heavy. I wish they addressed that the gold blouse was NOT the blouse that goes with all the sarees and showed how those looked. I'm glad she went with the gold saree, she looked amazing in it

I liked the orange sari best, but all three were gorgeous.
This is so much more interesting than the White, mostly look-alike dresses in the other shows of this franchise.

Why did they never change the blouse? I feel like that was what the mom wanted to see.

Blouses are made when the real event comes, and can be styled as and how someone likes, she can still wear a different blouse if she wants to. There's no point in changing the blouse repeatedly while trying on 😊

I absolutely loved the all gold one. She is stunning. Makes me wish I was Indian. The saris are so elegant and wearing a sari makes u have to move in a graceful manner.

You don't have to be an Indian to wear a saree. Buy a saree in a manageable fabric, look up some videos on how to drape and just go for it. We don't gatekeep our sarees
