I know this is a 5 year old post but I just purchased a set of these and am already regretting the purchase after watching this video 😂. I haven’t even had time to ride them, other than around my driveway. The spokes make a loose sounding rattle as well. I have taken them to my local bike shop and they said the spoke tension and wheels look good. Fingers crossed…

I have to find the video, I thought I put one up but it doesn't look like it. After about 400mi the rear hub exploded on me. Mavic fixed it under warranty, but because of that, I sold them for different wheels.
@@davidparlby2035 Same here, my rear hub got damaged three times already. I've replaced the whole back wheel and now my spoke failed and did a damage to the hub. Very poor hub design IMO.
@@RankoFrka Lord have mercy. My new Canyon came with XA rims and my rear hub blew on my first ride. I hadn't even gone a mile. Sounds like these are absolute shit.
You said this are for enduro and am use. But on Mavic’s site it states this intended for XC and trail! Hence I’m looking to by this set for my XC carbon hardtail bike!
Does the tires are real 2.4 inches or are thinner? I am interested in buying this wheels with the 2.4 tires, but i am afraid that they are to wide for my frame.
XT Disc Brake rotors come in both center lock and 6 bolt. Since the Mavic wheels are 6 bolt they will work without adapters using the XT 6 Bolt Disc brake rotors

There just boost hubs with loose caps in front or else the rotor would not reach the caliper on the fork. I've got this set and there good.
Yeah they do ride pretty nice!
Have you made a follow up to this video? I'm curious about your experience with the wheel set. Some people have reported hub issues. Thanks.

Mine have exploded twice on me. After today’s ride, it felt like it is about to go again on me. Time to get them fix and sell them.

@@johnnylawrence. That's the reason why I bought a different wheel setup. St Swiss , hope 4pro combo

"ASTM Condition 3 - For rough off-road riding and jumps less than 24 in."
very good review!!!
Thanks
For the 27,5 to u know if u can get a 141 QR conversion kit for it , please reply if u know
No
Ok
@@Thatmobilevalet yes u can. The silver qr adapters from bikeinn.
Did the wheels come with 2 skewers and if so what type? Thanks!
Does this wheel support any other tubeless tire brand like a Maxxis or Continental?
Yep works with most tubeless tires

They are pretty true to size. Check what your bike's manufacturer says for max tire clearance.
Do u k ow if they make conversion kits for the rear to make it 10x135mm??
No. You don't buy boost to convert it to 135 plus 148mm boost hub is wider so 135mm caps wouldn't even fit in your frame
Hi There. Do this wheels come with the XD drive for Sram or you have to by it separately? Thanks!
You can purchase these both as a Sram XD driver or as a Shimano HG. 2 different versions so just select the right ones!
hey ,how much do they weight?
Funny, that's in the video
Do you have to order an adapter to attach XT disc brake rotors?
XT Disc Brake rotors come in both center lock and 6 bolt. Since the Mavic wheels are 6 bolt they will work without adapters using the XT 6 Bolt Disc brake rotors
So this wheels are like a fake boost, right? you only widen the hub to fit a boost fork, but gain no stiffness at all...
Fake Boost? These are different hub shells than the non-boost version. They have Endcaps to mate up to the frame properly.
Then why not making the hubs mate properly without the spacers, as an entire piece?
That's strange to me
@@ruineves2606 Yes, they are normal width hubs with adapters to make it wider for boost sized frames.
Weight?
In the video.
