Robert, that trip was outstanding. I can only imagine what it must be like to tour a massive palace and see such beautiful architecture. Not to mention the delicious food and natural scenery of the area. Thanks so much for your videos which allow your viewers to travel along with you!
What a wonderful episode the finale I’m watching it now. It was the best thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Your great and I hope your wife is doing good. I will miss Spain lol
Once again Robert and Illy I want to say thank you for taking me on this journey. I have now visited Spain. You did an amazing job. Thank you again. Bernabe from Sparks NV
The work of a master. I must say the video, editing, music and narration all first class. It must have taken alot of work, but the end product is well worth it. It felt like a trip to Madrid without having to leave my seat. Maybe someday we will go.
Hey Robert, happy Sunday! Wow, El Escorial is just fantastic, so much great art and architecture. Saying goodbye to The Clunker must have been a relief, hopefully when you look back you'll be able to laugh about it. Thanks for taking us along on this grand adventure. Until next time, happy trails!
Like all other travel series, the final feels melancholic, but the solace is that new adventures await. This was yet another outstanding and brilliant experience shared with us. Now, I'll queue the Espana series and enjoy it. I added a new line item to my bucket list: the Museo Jamón Museum and El Escorial. Fantastic work, and Thank you!
We really enjoyed tryout adventures in Spain and accompanying music. I was always hungry seeing those yummy dishes. Felt sad as you flew out and your vacation was over. ❤
Thanks! We’ve enjoyed your Spain trip seen all the episodes actually watching your last one in Madrid before heading home 🙏🏻🙏🏻 again Thank you for sharing your trip with all of us ❤
What a wonderful series. It has been so entertaining to follow along and see, learn and admire so many interesting and beautiful things about Spain. Thank you for showcasing the best of this working vacation. Looking forward to rounding out the year with the visit to the Northeast. Oh, and one more thing-that new ‘Happy’ song, is great!
Robert, I was in Madrid this past July. I want to thank you for doing these videos. You should me a few of the places that I wanted to visit but didn't have a chance to (ran out of time). The video quality is top notch and the narration is the best. Keep up the great work. My trip is complete after watching this. Bring on the next series!!
Spain is one of those countries with a deep variety of history, even the buildings were repurposed due to the change in kingdoms controlling them, like the many monasteries and cathedrals built on mosques, which in turn used to be Visigothic temples. That is mind blowing.
11:25 OMG! That is an El Greco! and a big one! Forgive my exitement, he is my favourite painter by far. He was born 200 years to early, his art was appreciated much later.
AAAAAAHH robert thank u 4 a beautiful...amazing journey thru spain.???what phone provider did u use 4 data,if i may ask, what was ur budget for this trip........c u on the next one👍👍👍👍
I used HolaFly for data, and an international plan from AT&T. That became a little pricey but it was worth it to be able to have our home number to communicate,
The idea of Camping in Spain and US is very different. In US you want full hookups you have huge RV taking up loads of space. Every singel kind of service is supposed to be there. The huge Rvs need lots of power and the campsite needs to built it to an higher standard. In Spain and most of Europe camping is seen as being a simpler way to travel. . A campsite can be a gravel parking where the rvs are packed tight (often to tight) and you only have a low amp conection. So the site in Spain will be easier to keep at a low cost. They can fit 3-5 camper vans in the space of 1 US mega size fifth wheel and big truck. Remember that an f-250 is around the same size or maybe bigger then the van Robert rented. When you add all extra things american wants in a campingsite its impossible to keep the prices low compared to Spain. Also US is much more expensive then Spain as a country in general.
For the same camping services you will pay more than double what you pay in Spain. The $25 campsite in the US is gone. Free sites always full. We camp at Walmart or gas stations with no hookups. Even for our tent campers or truck campers like me. Sites are had to get.
Robert, thank you for this last video of Spain. I think it’s the best content you’ve given us. I enjoy all your work, I’ve been following you for many years now. Looking forward to what’s next. Would love to meet in person one day. 🇺🇸🫶🏼

Clonker is one cheap motorhonme. Lowest spec available. Very glad you came back to europe. In the future, you musy do iceland by RV.
Is everyone up with the time change?
Hi Robert, have you ever done a 23andMe type test? I think that would make a fun video, giving insight to Cuba and its history, people, etc.
I'm not sure I trust them to have my DNA
@@TravelingRobert Ah, got ya.

Robert -- Did you visit any of the towns that were hit by the devastating floods this past week?
No I didn't specifically, but I was in the area.
Do you plan to visit Fuerteventura ?
Someday
There's a Five Guys in Madrid???.....
So I'm curious. How much did the Clunker cost you
About $1500
😅 the expression on your face "I don't know who this guy is but people love to touch his butt." Yes I find it rather disturbing as well😅
It's not the Moors, it's the Moops! (sorry Seinfeld reference)
I went back out to smash the thumbs up and lost the live chat
Ps 2- miami now 6.1
New data
Ps. Litle bigger than miami? Madrid 6 milion
And miami around 5 😮
I was wondering how Illie is doing. It was good to see her in her sling.
She's doing much better. Thank you for asking.
No Barcelona??
Nope
@TravelingRobert 😭
Seems like cost of campsites are far lower in Spain than the USA.
I wonder if using cassette toilets reduces the cost.
Yes, they are much cheaper... no full hook ups though
