Hello. Do you have a result? I use Squirt for lube and agree, it’s great. I am new to tubeless on a new road bike I just bought and need to buy sealant. Should I buy Stan’s Race or Squirt in your opinion? Thanks!
Hello Ryan thank you for taking the time to watch my video and post a comment. For the time being I would go with Stan’s sealant. To be honest, I have not had any punctures since posting this video so I have not been able to see if the Squirt sealant works under real life conditions. I could poke a tire but I really don’t want do that 😂 When I’ve had a couple of punctures with Squirt I’ll report back to the channel. Please subscribe
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad The bike shop is telling me I should use Muc Off with the Enve Hookless rims and Enve Ses 29 road tire. They said Stan’s racing is very thin and not recommended for this tire. Any guidance is appreciated.
@@ryansolomon4178 Muc-Off has a whole suite of great products. I haven’t used their sealant enough to give it my seal of approval 😂 I just realized you have been asking about Stan’s Race. In my opinion the Race sealant should really only be used on race days or something important. I find it is a pain to work with. It clogs up everything including your valves. It can’t even be put in with the injector because it clogs that too. Personally regular Stan’s should be good enough. If you’re riding hookless rims then most of them have a max pressure of low 70’s - just about any sealant will work at lower pressure. Regarding sealant recommendations per specific tires that’s not something I’m aware of sir.
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad well, thanks for a swift response. I ended up going with JuiceLubes, and will see how it goes. But yeah, regarding Squirt's sealant - it's really hard to find a review, let alone a comparison video with it and some other popular sealants
@@silviomanuel473 I love their lube so I thought I would give the sealant a try. But I think the tire has a sidewall issue. As I mentioned I need to give it a fair chance next time. I didn’t find much information on Squirt sealant either which is why I was intrigued by it.
Yikes....you did a "review" without providing any results. Thanks for the details about Muc-off not working on the "shoulder" cut but I was hoping your definition of a review would better align with my definition.

I am sorry but this is not a Squirt tire sealant review
You are correct sir. I did more describing the product. I did another video eventually. In the end I wasn’t impressed though 😢
I do need to circle back and try it again with a different tire and different circumstances.
Thanks for watching!
