Every ad and trailer shows the same 5 scenes over and over - it makes it look so much smaller scale than the others.
They don't want to give away the whole film, unlike many other trailers.

Those first 3 Indy films are cinematic masterpieces. Who makes films like those today? I can't wait to see this last film. I just wish we had gotten more of them over the decades.

The sad part, I will be watching this on my own. My wife and children are not a fan of Indie. If I mention it to them that it's showing is near, they will just say ford is old. They would watch it in streaming but just to accompany me, I'd rather watch it on my own.

I'm so excited for the final adventure . I love this character so much . I really trust in James Mangold . Because I don't believe the movie is bad . The movie have 62% on rotten tomatoes in this moment .
Fr, even if the movie is not as great as the original trilogy at the very least it sounds like you'll have a hell of a time watching it with good ol' classic Indy moments.
Also the fact that you can't really trust RT these days, they gave the Mario movie a ridiculously undeserved low score, but literally everyone else loved it.
Mangold is an overrated director.

Why bother saying the first part of that sentence?
If he goes back in time wouldn't the people on those ships view the plane flying overhead? So I guess that wouldn't have any effect on history being changed apparently. You can clearly view the sails on the ships from below. So anyone on those ships could see that loud and large plane flying overhead.
History tends to be lost alot.
Let's say you're a Greek or Roman in 200 odd BC and you see a large smoking winged thing flying overhead during a battle. How exactly is that going to change the course of history?

So I'm just saying it all doesn't make sense. You are right that it probably wouldn't change history. I heard that people think it is some sort of flying dragon in the film. Who knows, I guess we need to wait and see the film. I'll likely wait until it shows up on streaming somewhere or cable.

The principle character in the magnificent Indiana Jones series of movies is Dr Henry Jones, Junior… he is handsome, intelligent, swashbuckling. As an aging woman, who has followed our archaeological hero through the ages, may I please ask that he is never replaced by any woman…She may be pretty and intelligent, but she will never convincingly master swashbuckling. Just got back from an early showing and it's quite possibly the worst in the indy series and one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time...
Somehow it's worse than Kingdom of the Crystal skull and along with the writing, What they do to the character and its world, One of the single worst things they did to this movie was introduce Phoebe Waller Bridge to this franchise... What a hot mess. 🤦♂️
Mad Mickelson just plays Hannibal all the time, that's his gimmick. The story is not connecting with fans coz it's ideologue human excrement of vindictive angry feminist placating her men-hate cornucopia dream drawn to it's logical conclusion. I think this movie did it so outrages, far deeper in that feminist hate bonghole then even Brie Larson dared to tap into, that it probably will become the death of that trope from all the backlash. Harrison Ford... the spark and twinkle in his eyes from the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark has long since vanished and he's now a grumpy old sack of shit that regrets he is still alive, the completed life complex and that's reflected in his on screen as well as real life persona. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the most perfect casting choice coz after practically bankrupting MGM to *ahum 'modernize James Bond', she has returned to put the bulldozer to another action-adventure franchise. It's hinted at the end she's gonna have many more adventures to come, but it still remains to be seen if she may also bulldoze Tombraider to the ground or wether her career is over after this. It didn't poop out golden eggs for Brie Larson to say it mildly. Disney will probably put the movie as a tax write off never to be seen or heard of again after the bomb in the box. They got Hulu to worry about after all. The sad thing here is that there is a really good sort of Indy movie to tell about the antikythera mechanism (coz that's what the dial is a reference to), but this ain't it. If anything I'm horrified by the lack of creativity within Disney, but not surprised. Certainly not from Bobby Igor's divisified marxist communist and child sex supporter Disney.
