I remember playing Indiana Jones and The Emperor's Tomb as a kid. . . an amazing game. I've always hoped to see a modern Indiana Jones game and seeing this was like a dream coming true. Truly the game i'm most hyped about currently :D
Have you tried the Dragon Pearl mod? It made me go through Emperor's Tomb again, and it felt like a new experience. Or at least, made it feel how I remembered the game when I played it as a kid, instead of how it actually is. Although, be warned, it is INCREDIBLY difficult! I'm just hoping this game won't fall prey to the usual modern AAA bullshit, and that the soundtrack will be equally amazing as Emperor's Tomb!
Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about it. It may work, it's definitely a Toddism to the IP... Everything else looks really good though, just not sure how that gameplay will hold up over an entire game
That soldier just standing there with fists up while waiting for whip attack? It looked ridiculous to me... I wish I hadn't have watched the video now heh
Yeah as a Resident Evil fan, we were skeptical of the first person camera with Seven but it ended up making the experience that much more immersive and made encounters feel more personal. I think it’ll end up being a great 1st person game.

This looks so much more immersive and I can't wait to go on another globe trotting adventure from Machine Games, in a similar time period to The Old Blood, plus I get to play as Indy?! Troy Baker has really been studying Harrison Ford's inflections and mannerisms.
It's great that they used a similar actor. But how long till games start to replace the voices with AI.
You can always trust Troy Baker to give a fantastic and passionate performance! He's more than just Joel from The Last of Us. If you look up his career history, you'll probably find yourself pleasantly surprised at how many huge gaming roles he's landed over the decades.

Sorry, what game play where you watching?
While the only other Indiana Jones game I've ever played is Fate of Atlantis, this still looks like fun. The fact that it's being developed by MachineGames (who did one of my all-time favourite games Wolfenstein: The New Order) just makes me more excited, if a little bit optimistic.
But we are still fighting Nazis as well.
Damn dude, that brings back memories :)
Same! I’m ecstatic to see them doing it. They are a very good studio.
Looks brilliant! Also amazing how Troy baker sounds like Indy but at the same time has put his own spin on it. Can’t wait!!!
As a 2000s Indiana Jones Guy, it brings a smile to my face seeing a brand new Indiana Jones Game after all these years since Staff of Kings...
I really loved lego indiana jones back in the day, but my favorite game was the emperors tomb for the original xbox! How far we've come!!!
The trailer in 4k looks even better. I am really excited for this one.
I loved playing lego indiana jones as a kid, im so excited even for something like this
I remember playing Indiana Jones and The Emperor's Tomb as a kid. . . an amazing game. I've always hoped to see a modern Indiana Jones game and seeing this was like a dream coming true. Truly the game i'm most hyped about currently :D
Well Emperor Tomb will remain superior.
So you've come from the future? The Great Circle wasn't good? How's WW3?@@Slaythe
Emperors Tomb was top tier. Staff of kings was a huge disappointment
@@littlehotrod55 honestly first time hearing about the staff of kings, why was it a dissapointment?
Have you tried the Dragon Pearl mod? It made me go through Emperor's Tomb again, and it felt like a new experience. Or at least, made it feel how I remembered the game when I played it as a kid, instead of how it actually is. Although, be warned, it is INCREDIBLY difficult!
I'm just hoping this game won't fall prey to the usual modern AAA bullshit, and that the soundtrack will be equally amazing as Emperor's Tomb!
I grew up on Fate of Atlantis. This trailer makes me feel like a kid again
Loved it on my Amiga (or was it the C64? Damn, I'm not sure)... But this is the kind of Indy game i've been waiting for for decades.
Fate of Atlantis was the only reason to buy Staff of Kings on Wii. The minute I unlocked it, I got hooked, and I forgot about the base game.

the character modeling looks great
THIS is what they should do to further Indiana Jones. Don't replace Harrison with more movies.
The FPS angle is not what I expected but it may end up working very well. Might make it more immersive. Definitely going to be fun to play.
Ya 1st person was a big mistake.
Yeah as a Resident Evil fan, we were skeptical of the first person camera with Seven but it ended up making the experience that much more immersive and made encounters feel more personal. I think it’ll end up being a great 1st person game.
It definitely won’t make it more immersive. FPS is not the way especially after the greatness of uncharted 4. FPS for Indiana jones seems reductive but I hope I’m wrong.
This is a game I didn’t even realise I need in my life. Wasn’t expecting this so looking forward to it!
A few years ago, after being a gamer for over 30 years, I stopped playing. After seeing this trailer, I think it's time for a comeback....
WOW! Was not expecting this gem at all. Looks fantastic and captures the feel of the film series perfectly.
My only complaint so far is I wish they used Marion Ravenwood instead of introducing a new female protagonist.
Honestly I can't wait. I have only ever played Lego Indiana Jones as a kid but this looks fun. Love the series and glad to see it expanded.
Play Fate of Atlantis and Tomb of the Emperor next, great games, this 1st person one looks poor.

After 21 years I can finally say I'm hyped for an Indiana Jones game cause tbh this looks good, even though kinda disappointed that it's not 3rd person like it should, but still looks good. Hopefully the final product will live up to its expectation, haven't had a good Indy game since The Infernal Machine.
Since it's also coming out on PC, I wonder if someone out there would be willing to try and create a Mod that makes it 3rd person all the time?
@@oel734 naah, don't get your hopes up, they tried a similar mod with Cyberpunk 2077 and ended up with a disaster, purely because the core gameplay was based on first person.

@@oel734 nope that requires it to have a 3 rd person character model for the character which can allow us to see the character also the camera position has to be set a bit behind the character in first person they don't create that so it cannot be made by modders 😢

I was wondering who was gonna be doing the voice, I was kinda expecting Ross Marquand since he does such a good Han Solo voice. I'm a fan of Baker, so sounds good to me!
Todd Howard left Skyrim in space so he could make Dishonoured with a whip. Never stop memeing, Todd.
Expected very little from this game even though I loved the Wolfenstein games. Just never was a big Indiana Jones guy, but damn! This is now my most anticipated game of 2024. Machine Games and Todd Howard looked like they knocked this out of the park. May very well end up being the definitive Indiana Jones video game.
This looks incredible. And I really felt that it’s gonna be great based on the sound effect at 2:09 alone. That gunshot sound effect is quintessential Indy and it wasn’t even in Dial of Destiny or Crystal Skull for that matter. I enjoyed all the movies and this game looks to be worthy. Can’t wait!
