I've listened to this several times and found it so enlightening and clear. When I listen to any of your videos, it grounds me more and more in my truth. I've made it part of my daily habit to listen at least once a day to help solidify my parh and keep me centered. You have provided me with the most important pieces of life's puzzle, and I am so grateful.❤❤❤
Beloved Linda, yes, it is this way also for me. What Swamiji is sharing about Karma and the path of life is so valuable for me. It just helps me to understand what's important. It is such a joy to read your heartful comments under so many of my videos 🙂. Warm regards and all the blessings 🙏❤🙏, Dhyan Mikael
Your simple guidance is much appreciated. I also read the comments here, one in particular perhaps has useful pointers if one wishes to intellectualise the subject of karma but a down to earth interpretation (such as yours, sir) is very helpful to we simpler souls ❤🙏
Beloved Karen, oh, I appreciate your comment very much. You know, I am a simple soul myself. The magic of Samarpan Meditation is that it is made for us simple people who lead a normal life, in society, with job and family and friends. We live in very special times, where such people now can find true happiness by discovering their true nature. It is a natural, normal process; nothing esoteric. Thank you for sharing your story and path. I am living in USA. I am middle age and in a dark night of the soul. You are helping me find hope to keep living. Thank you Laura
Beloved Laura, thank you for your comment! I talked about your comment and this subject today in a video. I will publish the video in the next few days and I will let you know here as soon as the video is published. You are also welcome to subscribe to my free English newsletter. I'll send it out as soon as new videos are released. You can sign up here: dhyanmikael.com/newsletter If you write me an email and refer to your comment and RUclips user name, I can send you a transcript of the answer by email as soon as the video is published. Beloved Laura, I am happy that I was allowed to speak on the topic from your comment in the video "Life without Thoughts, Part 2: questions & answers.", recorded on October 18, published 5 days ago. Further below you find the transcript of my answer. Here is the link to the video on my website. There you also find a full transcript for reading: dhyanmikael.de/en/videos/posts/life-without-thoughts-part-2 And here is a topic link which will open the video on my website and position it at the beginning of the topic. When you press the video's play button, playback will start directly at this topic: [01h12m07s] In the dark night of the Soul: dhyanmikael.de/en/videos/posts/life-without-thoughts-part-2?qtc=1:12:07 And here is the link to the topic text in the transcript: #dhyanmikael.de/en/videos/posts/life-without-thoughts-part-24327 This video is also available in German: "Leben ohne Gedanken, Teil 2: Fragen & Antworten." dhyanmikael.de/videos/posts/leben-ohne-gedanken-teil-2 And here is the topic link for your question in the German video: [01h05m09s] In der dunklen Nacht der Seele: dhyanmikael.de/videos/posts/leben-ohne-gedanken-teil-2?qtc=1:05:09 This is the link to the topic text in the German transcript: #dhyanmikael.de/videos/posts/leben-ohne-gedanken-teil-23909 The German version is not a direct translation, but spoken just as freely and without a script as the English version. The two versions are therefore often quite different. And here is the text of my response in the video: ******************** In the dark night of the Soul ----------------------------- So, there's one more question I would like to read out today. "Thank you for sharing your story and your path. I'm living in the United States. I'm middle aged and in the dark night of the Soul. You are helping me fight find hope to keep living." So, again, not really a question, but a comment. But I want to say something about it anyway. First of all, thank you that you write your comment, and thank you that you are here. We human beings, we have a funny life, you know... We try to manage life in some way, and for the most part of our lives, all of our energy goes into somehow surviving this challenge. But then comes a point in the life of every human being where you realize: "I can't do it." You realize: "It won't work. Everything I try, it doesn't work." But you don't know what works. You know nothing else. And that's what some people call the dark night of the soul. You begin to let go of the old because you realize: it doesn't work. But you have nothing new. You don't know what works. Yes, you hear videos like mine, and you hear that there is, in fact, something which really works, but it is not your own experience yet. It's just a hope, just a dream right now. You know, it's like a construction site... My Master once told me this story, which was really interesting for him. Across from the street where he was living, there was a huge building, and on that on that spot in this town, they wanted to construct a new building, a completely new building which had nothing to do with the old building. So, they tore down the old building, and once the old building was torn down, they removed the debris of the old building. And once that was gone, they had to dig into the ground to take out the old fundaments and all the old pipes and wiring, all the old stuff deep in the ground. They had to take all of this stuff out. So, at the end, not only the building was gone, but also, in the ground, there was a deep hole. It was all gone. And all this had had to be removed. All the old had to be removed before they could start building the foundation for the new building. That's how it is in construction, and that's how it is in life. And this time where the old is gone, not only the old building is gone, but also in the ground, the fundaments are taken out, all the old pipes and wiring, it's all taken out... that's the dark night of the soul. And there is only one thing you can do when you are at this spot in life: just keep breathing. Just go on. There is nothing else you need to do. Just hang in there. Do what you can do. Do what gives you some kind of help to continue living. All you need is patience. Sit in this dark night of the soul. Sit where you are right now. Don't try to get out. Don't try to change it. Be willing to be in there. Say 'yes' to the feelings you have right now. Make your home in this, as if it will be like this forever. It might sound a little strange to you, but the more you can do this, the sooner the new construction can start. That's the secret. The more you can be where you are right now, the sooner it will go on. But this will happen by itself. You see, the deconstruction in your life, that happened by itself. The disillusionment happens by itself, but the new also grows by itself. All you need to do is be here where you are. If you can, meditate. This will help you immensely. But don't meditate with the desire to get out of where you are. The meditation will help you to be in where you are right now. It's like what I just said to the question earlier. You don't meditate to become still. You are not still. You meditate, and this helps you to be with what is for you right now. And that's all you need to do. That's why it is so easy. So, if you can, meditate. If you can, just rest with your attention here. Ignore the thoughts as well as you can and be patient. Swamiji told the alcoholics: "Don't try to drink less. Don't try to change yourself. Be the way you are. Be even more the way you are - but meditate." And I tell you the same. Be the way you are. Be where you are. Don't try to get out of it. Don't try to be different - and meditate. That's how I live. When something triggers me, I just become so close to that which triggers me, inside of me, to this feeling, as close as I can. I let it be. Just in this video, I got triggered. I don't know whether you noticed, but something here in the environment happened, and it triggered me. And I just became more quiet. I became more inside of myself. I was with this trigger, with this feeling inside of myself to the best of my abilities. I didn't try to be cool. I didn't try to be not triggered. I didn't try to be not distracted. I was even more the way I am than before. And with this, you will live through anything. That's the secret of life, and this meditation helps you with exactly this. Thank you for your question. Thank you for your comment. Thank you for being here. ******************** Thank you for your question. It is a joy and inspiration for me to hear from you. If eu can accept that life is an adventure and consciously choose that adventure it begains to matter less weather ur experience here is good r bad because I'll experience is so valuable
Yes we know what Karma means, The Tathagata 2,558 years ago explained what it means. This is not the meaning of Karma. Karma means action, simple as that. Dependent Origination, something one does via speech or action will produce a result. The mysterious part is when Karma ripens. In the Pali Canon there are the 5 Remembrances... the 5th is 'I am the heir of my Kamma, born of Kamma ..' Karma or Kamma in Pali, is the cause of birth. There is no abiding self, no personality that reincarnates - no Ego or Soul that evolves or becomes enlightened. Please read the Upajjhatthana Sutta to understand the true meaning of Kamma because one can not be non-doing while identified as mind body. 🙏
Beloved Luna, yes, I agree. One cannot be non-doing while being identified as mind body. So true. 😅 I try to speak in simple words, because I am a simple guy, speaking to simple people. So I appreaciate very much your knowledgeable additions! I send you warm greetings and every blessing🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻 Dhyan Mikael
