I absolutely loved how physical Steve was portrayed in this movie, he's a superhuman bull in a china closet, no need to skillfully parkor over desks when you can just plow them all down
It honestly makes even more superhuman-esc than the first two Avengers movies, “Avengers 2012” and “Avengers: Age Of Ultron”. But that’s all thanks to the *Russo Brothers* .
2:35 I love the detail of him crashing into the wall and leaving a huge dent, really goes to show how fast he was running but also Steve's mentality here. Catching up to the winter soldier was all he cared about in this moment

Another way you can tell Hydra infiltrated SHIELD is the response on the comms. "Do we have a 20 on the shooter?" how did SHIELD know that Fury was shot when all Cap said was that he was down? He never specified the injury or the form of attack.
Actually, Sharon could have easily called for backup before responding to the call by saying "Shooter at Cap's location". Would be the safest thing to do before checking to make sure everything is okay.
For all intents and purpose, Fury was dead, so no need to be worried about a Hydra Agent just finishing the job when Fury himself was more preoccupied with handing Steve the hard-drive

Watching this Chase scene after so many years makes me think the last time i watched, it was much longer. Brilliant scene nonetheless, the convo between the both and the chase.
Winter Soldier is easily top 3 best Marvel movies. No multiverse, no magic, no portals, no corny jokes, no cameos, no celebrity characters, just a straight forward thriller where the two main characters are some relentless roided-out goblins who crash out every time they cross paths. No talk, just violence on sight. Peak Marvel times here.
I come back to this scene and this movie every so often, just to remind myself at one point I was excited about Marvel movies, and to remember how good we had it. The best of the three solo film sequels to follow the Avengers. Such a frickin good movie, one of the best superhero films of all time and probably the single best movie in the MCU. It’s sequel Civil War is great too but this set the bar, and what a frickin high bar it was.
This single scene shows how Bucky is stronger than Steve. When Steve threw the shield, Bucky caught it as if it was nothing, but when Bucky threw the shield back, Steve slid a few meters backwards when he caught it. Assuming they both threw the shield with all their strength it's a good example how Bucky is stronger...
Bucky isn't stronger than Steve, just his metal arm is. His metal arm has even more super strength in it than his normal limbs which is why he can overpower Cap easily with it.
@@datboy174 We can't know how advanced HYDRA's serum was. And besides they might've even experimented with the tessaract stone on Bucky, they did use it for all their weapons after all... Not to mention his arm is only metal which means however they attached it to him he's the one controling it with his strength, the arm doesn't have its own strength... Also in the train Zola kept repeating "Kill him" about Bucky, but why was he so afraid to leave Bucky alive a d not Steve?! Zola was the one to experiment on Bucky so he knew how strong he is. There are other examples which I can't point out right now, because it's 3am after New Year's Eve. Bucky IS stronger than Cap, even if it'll never be confirmed/cannon, because who'd ever confirm there's another supersoldier more powerful than Captain America?!
@@michelleart6593 Yes we can it's was stated in Captain America: First Avenger that HYDRA's serum was inferior to the one Steve got but Bucky was already strong before his serum since he was a soldier so he still got a decent enhancement. If the tesseract was used on Bucky it would be stated and since it's not that's your own headcanon not actual canon. The arm isn't bone and flesh so not only does he not have to worry about injuring it like his normal arm he can put more in his blows. It does has it's own strength as it's listed on Bucky's power wiki his metal arm is even strong then his flesh one. So again, Bucky isn't stronger then Steve his metal arm just is. Also there is another soldier stronger then Steve and Bucky in comics, it's John Walker. It's been confirmed multiple times. Bucky minus his metal arm is equal to Steve.
