Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way. We deserve Hell because we've sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him. John 3:16 Romans 3:23❤😊❤😊❤
Okay, now I understand the significance of this particular machine, and why Rene Rondeu set up and Opera serial number list. On the Antique Phonograph Society’s forum.
@1974hurt Thanks very much Brett my Edison Opera Mahogany is arriving this Wed I can't wait you have very rare Machines Class M and lotsss more your collection is like museum probably 2 Machines I'd love to buy not now ha Class M and Coin Operated Machine like yours thanks for your knowledge 😀 👍☕️🎶
Two thumbs up for a great Opera presentation! I also have an oak Opera. Many Operas have lids that came from Triumphs with a hole drilled through for the horn. Mine had a very amateur refinish job for the case and the motor board, so I had it professionally redone. It was refinished in a dark oak finish and the motor board was superbly done. It's my favorite cylinder machine. Is yours missing the little rubber tip that went on the tip of the shut off arm? Mine fell off, so I made another from a piece of leather brake pad. Marc.

Thank you very much!
I love seeing these old machines kept in running shape, and this one is beautiful, great job!
It's a really nice example. Who ever painted the bed plate did an amazing job. Keep the videos coming.
I did the work on it, thanks

Beautiful machine
Beautiful Edison Cylinder thank you for this video
Sounds great for a cylinder phonograph, others I've heard all sound tinny, nasty and shrill.

It appears the cylinder needs to be reamed so it will fit on the cylinder mandrel. I found a lot of my cylinder collection needed reaming.
Do you sell the oil pins-I have 2) Opera’s missing pins. Thank you
Yes, I still have some Opera oil caps available. Are you missing all 5 oil caps on both Operas? Dyslexicgeniushurt@gmail.com
For such a high end instrument, I'm surprised it doesn't play both 2 and 4 minute cylinders. Absolutely stunning, though.
It was introduced when blue amberols came out. The Amberola A-1 plays 2 and 4 minute.
My New Years resolution for 2020 is to get a better job so I can afford the machines you have lol.
Nice, I got two of them. One in mahogany and one in oak.
kristheobserver I’m jealous!
@@1974hurt Thanks. I got a Victor D and a Brunswick Cortez too.
Brett how does some Edison Operas have side latch but no handles were some of were made up to look like Opera 😎👍☕️
The oak operas have latches, and the mahogany operas have handles.

Why do needles I got have long thin needle but all of the ones to buy on ebay dont? Help please
Long thin needles are often “soft-tone” and the ones I buy on eBay are “loud tone”
