I have to say that I'm completely in love with Barry but, the Bee Gees are Barry, Maurice and Robin. The most talented and harmonious brothers that ever lived. Thank you for keeping them alive in our memories and in our hearts. A hug from Brazil.
It's a beautiful song from the 'Staying Alive' film. The brothers certainly worked their magic with melody, harmonies and such meaningful lyrics. Barry's smooth vocals......just perfect! Thanks Chad x
Such a beautiful smooth song. Just when you think it could not get any better those beautiful harmonies come in. Hopefully it gets to stay on the playlist. Thank you for getting it back for us . ❤
What a wonderful song! It's like a mysterious and sweet vibration that takes hold of the heart and puts it in a state of sweet dream. You are absolutely right Chad, Barry's voice here is pure and fine, like the wings of a bird approaching a fountain of youth. Thank you very much Chad!
Hi Chad! Always so great to see you. You are THE BEST.👍 Such a gorgeous song, beautiful harmonies and lyrics. And you're right Chad..Barry is the man. There's just no one ever that sings like him. His voice in this song is as smooth as silk, so tender and just grabs your heart.❤️ The genius of the Brothers Gibb are on another level with everything they do. What a "gift" they have given us. Thank you again for sharing your love for the Bee Gees. It's always a special time with you. Take my friend.🫶
I’m sorry that you had a copyright issue with the original video and that it had to be taken down because of that! Thank you for trying to find a way to have it on your channel without it having to get taken down again and for taking the time to re-upload it when you could’ve instead just let that go, since it’s an old reaction, and moved on to a new reaction that you could get checked off of your list of requests! I’m sure I commented on your original video for this reaction, but I’ll say something about it here too. I love this song because both Barry’s voice and the music are so soft, smooth, and beautiful.
I recommended this lovely song to you chad more than year a go and i was surprised how could you miss this eternal song , but now you a awaked my sleepy wish with Your magical touch of creativity
I think the Bee Gee's contributions to the soundtrack for "Staying Alive" were so good but they were still being punished for the disco drama that had taken place. My personal favoirite from the soundtrack is I Love You To Much. Barry's vocal is so good.
Beautiful song, thank you Chad. I’ve checked your playlist several times but I can’t find one of my most favorite songs UNTIL from their 1979 Spirits Having Flown album. You have reacted to all the songs on the album except for UNTIL. If I’m mistaken, please forgive me. ❤❤❤
Great, great reaction. Bravo Chad ! Such a spectacular song. Bee Gees just the best Harmonies ever. And Barry ..oh Barry. Then, now and always my favourite. Nothing compares with This almost whispering voice . Love all his voices. He has the power to embrace my heart. Besides being a musical genius, Barry is an extraordinary man. One of a kind. Unique ❤🔥
All the songs that the Brothers did for the “Staying Alive” soundtrack were great. Unfortunately, the movie was horrible and it tanked; and they only played parts of the songs in the movie (which Barry did not like), unlike “Saturday Night Fever” where their songs actually told the story and were played in full. And by this time, the “Disco Backlash” was in full force and people had grown tired of The Bee Gees. So I don’t think any of these songs made the charts. And Sylvester Stallone, who directed the movie, was promoting his brother Frank’s songs over the Brothers. After the movie flopped, they began to write and produce for other artists and took a break from “The Bee Gees.” A pity, really, because these were some great songs that no one really heard.
Agree. The movie came out in 1983 (I think!) so the disco hate was still very much alive, as you said. Plus, it was an SNF sequel WITH Bee Gees songs! Double whammy. Living Eyes came out in 1981 and did not do well and their contributions to this soundtrack were ignored too. No wonder they pulled back and wrote for others and did solo projects.
Their genius was illustrated in a precocious and unexpected way at the beginning of their career, with the release of the album "Odessa" in 1969, which is a masterpiece of inspired creation and musical beauty. Their unique talent crosses the oceans like a flock of birds towards the distant spaces of the soul.
@@nelerhabarber5602It was an entertaining movie, that’s for sure! While I wouldn’t call it good, I’ve definitely seen way worse! I like the dancing scenes in the musical they were making.
Chad, in regards to your original getting pulled, do you know if RUclips actually investigates when they get a copyright violation complaint? Or do they just remove it, no questions asked?
Love this song, one of my favourites and yes, Barry has the best voice for me, so smooth, gentle, like velvet and also powerful, my absolute favorite singer and I also like raspy voices (R. Stewart, D. David...) but Barry is the number ONE!!!

What is the best Song by the Bee Gees? The next Song. ❤❤❤
Beautiful song by the brothers, too bad the movie wasn't a hit.
I liked the movie a lot, John Travolta danced much more better than in SNF and the dancing scenes in general were great!
