The only thing that was actually medium rare were the brownies. I'm shocked and flabbergasted that you didn't just parbake the carrot cake in a similar way, or partially fry the churros and apple fritters.

The liquid creme brulee makes me think of the concoction the butler makes for the kittens in The Aristocats.
In Hungary, we have a very similar dessert to your "creme brulee" called madártej (bird milk), just use milk instead of heavy cream. It uses the egg whites as a topping, you just need stiff peaks with a little sugar and cook it on a double boiler. It's really good, your version reminded me of this.

My personal favorite was the 1 hour per bag in hot water, just to get it mildly warm. That is commitment. Now, could you just slam the goop into a frying pan and cook it like an omelette? It would shorten the time for at least 50 minutes, while having all the textures and stages of glaze in it.
