What a nice place to spend an afternoon with nice food. And after to sit outside with a drink. And to think its just 10 mins north of the main square. The puddings looked fantastic. Bet you two will be having nice dinners for a few days. So jealous seeing the food you bought to take home. Enjoy.
Wow, I can only imagine how good it is. I am a big fan of a good pasztet with fresh crunchy bread, quality butter and some ćwikła (grated beets with a solid amount of horseradish) on the top. Pure perfection.
Salad is a mixture of something like potato salad, green mix salad -will have lettuce also in UK. In Uk is different as we eat sandwiches and green salad mixture for lunch , Poles always eat cooked meal during the day and then kanapki for the supper I Remember in Swiss restaurants they start a meal with a salad bar, use to leave the bowl to eat with my main dish and everyone was with curiosity. In Poland something with lettuce will be named : sałata zielona -green lettuce with dressing eg: boiled egg and sour cream ( my mum always made it like that) others made it with french dressing.
Ooohh pierogi 😋😋I'm so hungry now and can't wait to eat them on the christmas time 🌲😀 with red borscht of course 😉😉 Poland's the best place to live in with the best food and traditions 🇵🇱❤️
Waited if someone will guess what the white sałatką was : have been hooked on this sałatka ( posher , richer version in Polakowski - Miodowa 39) I hear sadly ,Polakowski is stragling to get staff...but go with a tupperware box and buy celeriac also 🥕carrot sałatka. They use to do the best 🥩pork chop too. Sałatka is made from grated celeriac root (bulwa selera). Sweeten with honey,🍋 sweet grated apple🍎, left in the juices to soften, salt, pepper . Polakowski version is with a spoon of sour cream or yogurt plus few raisins and few walnuts.halfs . Looking at the menu I would be trying hot krokiet ( never can reheat properly krokiet at home so freshly made is a must for me) rosół ,ruskie & fruit borówki-blueberry pierogi. If you had pork chop - it should be thinner , larger and crisper - and I would have to have mizeria with it. The restaurant is on Stork Street - Bociana 8 hence the symbol on the roof.🦩 Ps little darling scared me zooming on hulajnoga- scooter in the restaurant. Hold you responsible for my weight gain. Watched your video 2am🕑🌛....had to snack on Polish kiełbasa🥪 and ogórek małosolny. Today with Sunday lunch we are having celeriac sałatka.
The waitress kept saying 'salatka' - we thought she was saying 'salad' and we were saying 'we know it's salad but what is it?'😀 I have had the cutlets at a quite a few places now. What I love about this restaurant is that everything just seems to taster better - and that's why they have the longest lines at the food festivals. Not a fancy place, maybe they break some conventions, but I think they deserve the name they gave themselves 'the secret of taster'. Been to fancier places with less tasty food. Someone wrote they are not a restaurant but that they are a milk bar or cafe. Couldn't disagree more. Not being a Pole I can only judge by taste. Sorry we made u eat at 2 am. I've just devoured a lump of pasztet - guilty as charged!
Good food here. Had it first time today kompot, barszcz and potato pancakes then took away smoked bacon xD. Makes me wanna cry when I go back to australia and i wont habe any of this
That's such a bright and cheerful restaurant. The food looks really quality too. Great discovery 😋
The restaurant name says it all - they make everything taste really good. Gotta love that!
Love all that food and am very envious. Enjoy it all. Love you both, you are great and fabulous to watch. Thak you for sharing.

Sounds great except for the horseradish!
@@planetkrakow mixed with beets in ćwikła is really good even when you don't like it alone ;) You should give it a try

My fave salads are the ones Nina makes with all the lovely produce from the markets.
That's amazing, I live within walking distance from that place and go there from time to time, I certainly wasn't expecting to see it on your channel!
You're lucky to have it close! Quality is great and the lines for their pierogi at the festivals are always the longest!
Pierogi pierogi and pierogi Feta and cheese sounds good 👍Like fancy dessert 🍨
Had the blueberry pierogi before and they were fantastic
The white vegetable in the salad is probably radish, in polish- rzepa, very healthy.
It was so sweet!
Welcome Margaret, can be also celery, is very healthy too.
Great Polish food indeed! So hungry now :-)

Bless her, she has tried...
