Avrysatos ohthankgod they finally made that an official rule! I remember volunteering at Fanimecon years ago and I cannot tell you how nauseated I was from the smell. The worst was the final night checking out the viewing rooms to make sure people basically weren’t full on sleeping in there. The smell of sweat made the air palpable, grease from some fast food trash in bags around a group of unwashed young men eating burgers who had obviously just sprayed layers of different axe body sprays over themselves as opposed to actually showering - that smell full on slapped me in the face so hard I was trying not to gag. Apparently this group of guys had been camped out in this one room the entire 3 days and night of the Convention! Said they decided they were going to live in a spot, tag-team each other for food, bathroom breaks, load up on caffeine so they wouldn’t sleep because they decided they all had to watch entire 300 episodes series of BLEACH at the Con and do absolutely nothing else. Hadn’t even gotten a hotel room. And it was long enough ago there was literally nothing I could do. But my god all I wanted to do to dunk them all in a big vat of Bleach. The irony...I was over volunteering at that point, plus my brother got a booth so we got discount that way. Haven’t been back in a couple years cuz life, but I do miss that Con. I hope they made it an official rule there too instead of just they’re “suggestion to bring deodorant please!” - I do know the last time I was there a few years ago they had people donate extras in case someone forgot/NEEDED it for people to use. But damn does that smell haunt me...
What you could do is get baby oil to make your skin/hair look greasy instead of actually being unwashed. Although if you’re using any makeup like blush for sweaty red cheeks or a faux pimple, keep in mind that baby oil is a natural make-up remover.

i met a neck beard today. i was getting a new pc and he was standing near the keyboards. I was looking at some of the ones i could only dream of, but there he was. His odor was not exactly pleasant to say the least. His front tooth was missing, his hair short and russled, and he was very overweight. He felt a need to ramble about the headsets and keyboards. Nobody really asked-but that’s the neck beard thing right? My mom and i made fun of him later in the car on our way home.
