I have been going back and forth deciding whether to purchase a Handpan, and your video sealed the deal! I just ordered it! You're so amazing and I can't wait to start following your lessons! Thank you for your talent
I really have to face that you are just the right teacher for me! I know I should be going to a school like "Master the Handpan " or "handpan Dojo" BUT ypu just speak my language When you speak it totally makes sense to me. I am headed over to patreon to take a leap in your direction🥳 Thank you for the simple direct explaination Om namah shivayah, we bless your existence🙏🏾
Thanks so much for this! I'm a novice player and this has given me a new direction to explore. As a drummer I found it easier to count 1 e and a knock eh and a 2 e and a knock. Sounds better the more quickly it's played 😂
Io sono italiana e non capisco molto bene l'inglese, ma nonostante tutto sto imparando a suonare l' handpan grazie ai tuoi insegnamenti... sai spiegare benissimo.... grazie di esistere❤
I just want to say thank you so much for this amazing video that you created with basic pattern which is something I've been wanting to do besides just throwing notes all over the place LOL I play flutes for meditation relaxation professionally and want to add this to it not only are your tips and techniques your voice just carrying out the way you talk your energy Vibe is just spot on so please continue to do you're truly talented with these drums would love to possibly take a lesson from you if that's something that you offer
An absolutely new inspiration for my playing with the handpan. I hope to be able to record my first simple songs soon. Thank you very much for your really simple, easy to understand and friendly tutorials. I am very grateful for them!
Wonderful tutorial Amy 🧡 I am working on a song and that knock is perfect to break up the arpeggios in my song and give it a beat. I was doing the arpeggios 3-3-3-3 so I will see how to fit my vocal melody with 3-2-3.
Hi Amy, I am very new to handpan playing and I find your tutorials really helpful. Thnx for that 💚 Question 🙂 In the easy Arpeggios that sounds like a pro video at 8 minutes 42 you put extra notes / bridges in the melody. I have been rewinding the video time after time but I can't figure it out 🥴 can I ask you for a favour? Would it be possible for you to make a small video of this part chunk and slow it down a bit so I can follow what your hands are doing while making these extra notes 🙂 I would be sooo thankful for that !!!! Any way, love your videos, keep up the good stuff and lots of love from a Dutchie in France, Gerti 💚
I love this teacher and how sounds her Handpan how many notes does have what type of Handpan ? I’m looking to buy one like this after educating my ears of different sounds, this is the one I like most.
Sooooo good hangin’ with you, Rosie and everyone else at the Pantasia Handpan Gathering!! Look forward to crossing paths again … hopefully in the not so distant future!! Much love my friend!!💕 🛸🎶🦋
Haha I just wanted to comment that I don't like the pattern with the knock, but then you sped it up and then it actually made sense. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Gonna practise it on my Pygmy :)
Perfect timing for me this one Amy so thank you! :) I've recently felt Im doing too many knocks or just doing them at the end of a bar so to have them incorporated into a meditated groove like this something that will really help me. 😃
Would be nice if a written note example was given. When someone is playing, i often have the experience that the persons hands are faster than my eyes. Also notice that the note assigned the number 1 changes as each segment of the sequence is being described
Thanks Amy, this allows me to just guide someone while doing breathing exercises, I just struggle with the bridges because I add notes that don't sound right? Any rules or tips for that?
I recently got a rav vast F Astronaut and don't really find many videos with it. I'll try to apply things from your videos to it, but it's still kinda difficult for me as a beginner 😅
Hey Amy, just discovered your channel! Very appreciate it! I just bought an E Amara 13. As you mentioned the video of figuring out the chord i wanna ask you where to find it because i can't find a link. I figured some of the chords out but if you have additional tipps i am happy to hear them. :) Much love from switzerland 🤍
Thanks for this! Do you have that link to the video for figuring out which chords you have on your instrument? I have a D minor Celtic RAV Vast but I’m not sure what chords I have.
oops! I forgot to link it. Here's a video that talks you through the process ruclips.net/video/mZxJBeSVPiw/видео.html&ab_channel=RosieBergonzi-Performer
Because the count is referring to the "phrasing" of what I'm playing (how many notes I play before I reset to the next little phrase) rather than the placement of the notes. This way, I can move that phrase to any set of notes I like. I could play the middle note instead. Or I can play a different note entirely. But the feel of the pattern remains the same
First … great thumbnail … the word “Easy” stopped me in my tracks … (I like easy!! 😊) Secondly, this was a good video Amy! Gave me some ideas! 🙏 … 💕🛸🎶🦋

The very generous mentor with so much intrusive and valuable details that you need for long run playing and avoid mistakes.
You are such a good teacher ! I never could focus my attention on something very long but listening to you feels good and I can focus much longer :)
Amazing! I'm glad the videos are helpful. Thanks!
Thanks! I’m brand new to handpan and I learned a lot about music in this video!
Yay! Happy to help!
Die beste Handpan Lehrerin im ganzen Netz. Dankeschön für diese tollen Lektionen und liebe Grüße aus Deutschland ❤✅🙏🍀
I’ve asked Santa to get me my very first handpan for Christmas, I’m so excited for it and your videos are already so helpful!
I hope your question is answered by Santa Clause. I have been asking my wife for years, but no positive result yet 😅

This handpan is a D Kurd with 15 notes
Thank you just got some good ideas
Sooooo good hangin’ with you, Rosie and everyone else at the Pantasia Handpan Gathering!! Look forward to crossing paths again … hopefully in the not so distant future!! Much love my friend!!💕 🛸🎶🦋

Nice, thank you ❤
Thanks Amy 👊🏽
You're so welcome!
Great tutorial ❤😊 👍
Haha I just wanted to comment that I don't like the pattern with the knock, but then you sped it up and then it actually made sense. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Gonna practise it on my Pygmy :)
Haha yeah it doesn't make a whole lot of sense slowed down. Glad you enjoyed it in the end!

Yay! I'm glad
Thanks for an easy tutorial!! I actually got it!!!😅😅
Great!
Excellent ❤
What's a good budget handpan for beginners?
Thanks for sharing
lovely
I like it, thanks

I recommend starting with notes that are higher up on the handpan, these usually sound great. Keep experimenting until you find what you like :)
Nice👌👌👌
thank you very much, 🙏you are such a good techer ,Wich handpan are you using in this video?
Thanks! This is a D Kurd
I recently got a rav vast F Astronaut and don't really find many videos with it. I'll try to apply things from your videos to it, but it's still kinda difficult for me as a beginner 😅
Lucky I have one coming up!! I think I have one other video on my channel taught on an f astronaut. It's in my rav vast playlist
Hey Amy, just discovered your channel! Very appreciate it! I just bought an E Amara 13.

Ah yes, I forgot to add it to the description, here it is: ruclips.net/video/mZxJBeSVPiw/видео.html&ab_channel=RosieBergonzi-Performer

The famous Sam Maher Subway is based on this
Yes
Yes! And many more handpan songs use this as the foundation
is this 432 Hz or 440 Hz? Thanks
Are they chords or are they notes, in this case?
They are still chords, just played in an arpeggio pattern
❤
❤
Why is it not 1,2,3,1,3… you say 2 when you tap the 3 and I’m a bit confused
Because the count is referring to the "phrasing" of what I'm playing (how many notes I play before I reset to the next little phrase) rather than the placement of the notes. This way, I can move that phrase to any set of notes I like. I could play the middle note instead. Or I can play a different note entirely. But the feel of the pattern remains the same

The knocking hurts my knuckles.... am I doing it wrong...or will they get used to it?
🤍👏🏻🤗
Toowoomba much speak
🙏🫶🎈🍄🐬💖
