you left out an important comparison. the AWOL supports 3D and the Formovie DOES NOT. its a deal breaker for me, not because im a 3d fanatic but because at the price they should hall have it. you are using operating system as your deal breaker but that is nothing that can not be rectified with a nvidia shiled tv. I wish it was based on capability not platform.
What is important for a UST are no dead pixels after 1-2years of ownership! I have a VAVA Chroma and it's developed dead pixels after 1 year and I hear that this is a common issue for UST projectors with a DLP chip that is prone to overheat. I would like to know how common this issue is for AWOL and Formovie projectors?
The AWOL supports 3D-BLU-RAY movies and the ForMovie does not. What the hell is the point in buying a projector for a home theater that doesn't support 3D-BLU-RAY's?!?!?! Also, the AWOL LTV-3500 is a lot brighter than the ForMovie projector, especially with a 120"-150" screen.
The Awol is definitely a good one, but The Awol ltv 3500 costs 1200€ more as the Formovie,is that price difference justified?i dont give a shit at 3D there is not enough content
@mariod8405 Regardless if you care about 3D or not, the AWOL LTV-3500 PRO has both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and the brightness is far superior on a 120"-150" ALR screen. The AWOL LTV-3000 Pro is better for 100"-120" ALR screen... ...and the AWOL LTV-2500 is better for 100" ALR screen or less. The Formovie ('theather' model) is a very good projector for those who don't like 3D and have a 100" ALR screen or less.
I compared the LTV3000 with the Formovie theater,i liked the Formovie more,so buyed it with a 120“ Elite Screens Aeon Starbright CLR the sharpness, colours and brightness is Amazing
@sun-pb7xg ...By your rational, most people don't need a projector or a TV. Most laser projectors cost more than $2k, and at that price there's no reason why they all can't support 3D, 4K, DOLBY VISION, HDR-10+, HDR-10, and HLG formats, considering the technology is already there. BTW - I purchased the AWOL LTV-3500 PRO and the 3D is far better than IMAX 3D (and 3D TV's), especially when you turn up the Chroma and MEMC settings for 3D-BLU-RAY discs.
Formovie Theater VS AWOL LTV-2500 should be more reasonable Formoive, 0.23:1 throw ratio, Android TV google OS with No netflix, Dolby Vision, No HDR 10+, 35ms input lag 4K @60Hz. AWOL LTV-2500, 0.25:1 throw ratio, Android AOSP os with attached fire tv stick 4k max supported Netflex well, Dolby vision is coming, HDR 10+, 3D capability, 24 FPS, 16 ms input lag 4k @60Hz.
Done a lot of research on the progress of video projection and the AWOL has been the closest to perfection and cost per dollar. Audio in any theater is through a dedicated sound system and not the device as you want actual really good sound! Quality of picture in high light circumstances you want the best. Formovie isn't the best. I agree that this a Formovie employee or friend. Doesn't make sense.
The 3D technology is NOT UPTO THE MARK. The people are so tiny and small and it never looked realistic to me. 3D at home theater is not good enough. The 3D technology has to improve and should become realistic comparison to how a human eye can see. IMO, it has to improve 100X. I have not seen both projectors yet. I came here to nail one of the two, and could not decide one yet.
Haha these reviews you can tell a lot of awol owners in here. not happy that something half the price of it is better. I went formovie don’t really care about 3d as it’s a gimmick that has come in gone
@@gauravgorle I love it I’ve had no issues with it still looks great even with being on a white screen. If you get a ALC screen I bet it would be insane. It’s so clear people come to my house thinking it’s a tv not a projector
Definitely too high price on the awol got to be near formovie price or around £500 more at most!!! Even for the 3500 pro. no 4k 120 and they have to be native 4k! a must for these latest ust projectors
The 3D scene is somethink I didnt expect to exist. They really DO NOT produce any 3D movies for a while now and there are only a few from the past that are relevant. :D Its like a nice to have feature that nobody actually uses more than 2-3 times in the devices lifetime. :D 3D died as a fad even before Corona arrived.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M Sorry for a stupid question but.. if they do not film movies in 3D (with two seperate cameras) then what is the point of it for movie projectors?
Nobody gives a shit about the sound as most people buying a projector will have a home theater audio system.

ForMovie Theater is now on sale for $2799. That makes the choice a no brainer for me.
Awol supports 3D... makes the decision extremely easy. Who would pay that much to not have 3D?!
I would. I want something quiet with low input lag.
Is the "reviewer" just an AI voice reading what gptchat wrote? Kind of sounded like it. Also heard "nevertheless" a lot.
I totally agree and have started to hear these frequently as of late. Too many weird comments that make zero sense.
other tests say farmovie has problems with HDR Content in comparison to the AWOL

Formovie is not native 4k they both have the exact same chip producing 4k the exact same way. You are giving wrong information.
Awol is also not Native
You must work for Formovie? I don't get this outcome of this review? Sorry, researching projectors and screens for a large space.

Formovie outperformed many others within the price range. If you wouldn't mind 3D. Formovie is a best bet here. Cant ignore the facts.
Exactly, the Awol ltv 3500 cost 2 grand more

Yeh a lot of different pros and cons between the two. We need an OUTRIGHT winner that does it ALL 👍

Which can support upto 300 inch screen?
I was just going to purchase a Formovie theater unit. Until I read, it does not support 3D! They’ve just lost a potential customer!
Which did you buy ?

Glasses-free 3D monitors and laptops are already coming.

Formovie Theater does not support 3D! So it loses!
Formovie Theater is the best one! 🎉💐🎊
Only if you believe his lies.
Awol doesnt support dolby vision so forcinema wins.
