In this I'll show you 5 Easy Starter Farms tutorial. You can build these farms easily in your Survival Minecraft world. Farms like Iron Farm, XP farm, Food Farm, Melon&Pumpkin farm are very useful in the early game. All these farms work in Minecraft bedrock 1.17.

Note: For the Iron Farm,
1.the hole is 7 blocks deep.( I forgot to mention)
2. Make sure to build the farm at least 150 blocks from any village,bed or workstations.
3. Don't build it near any caves.
4. If your golems are spawning outside of the farm, place leaves around it.

Note ftom xp farm leave it while cooking potatoes and do what you need to do because 2 stack of double chest contains 40 xp in one potato

If you do build the iron farm from this video here’s a tip: before you put the water and lava wait for 5 cats to spawn. Then tame those cats. If you want you can put them on the leaves but since you tamed the village cats only iron golems will spawn and that will increase your iron production rate

@@guoyahan49 once you tame the cats spawned from the farm only iron golems will spawn its like every certain tick a golem or a cat will have a chance to spawn but if you tame the cats spawned from the farm then only iron golems will spawn giving you more iron

That's cuz those other 1 are spawn protected and full afk iron farms this also will get the occasional zombie or spider as shown by the random string in the chest but it was a starting farm so it works for it's purpose

I am playing on the Nintendo Switch and I was not able to place the lava over the signs. So I modified this. Hole is 8 blocks deep. Layer above villagers is stone. Then another layer, with a 4x4 magma block under the running water. Works like a charm.

Take note: For the Iron Golem Farm
Please add torches in the room so that mobs don't spawn
If a zombie spawns and kills all the villagers, It will result in no iron, thus you need to put a torch in the room

This Iron Farm works great for Xbox console (bedrock) 7/18/2022. I Was producing golems before i had it finished. Had to modify the border with leaves. I read someone said 4 rows of leaves, i ended up with 7 rows around the kill box. At 4 i built up 3 high than one per grass block coursing around the terrain. I wound up with a unique hedgerow around my existing lit walkways. I used glowstone in the ground covered with glass. Lites up my base well. Thanks for the post.

Tip for the iron farm:
You actually dont need to boiuld it 150 blocks away from your home bed and workstatipn yes you have to build it 150 blocks away from a village though so what am i trying to say if you want to build the iron farm near to your home then first break all the beds and workstatipn near it and once the villagers get their bed and workstation place your workstations again

@@karldanis6942 you can but you have to break the workstations and the beds inside the trading hall but by doing that if you place those workstations and beds again after building the iron farm the trades of the villagers will reset so trade with them atleast once so it wont reset

As long as they are connected to the proper beds and stations, and there is nowhere else for the golem to spawn it should work… I think, don’t hold me to it though 😬 but I’m pretty sure 👍

The first farm can be made cheaper for a survival player with extended pistons blocking water sources. Instead of using dispensers and water buckets. Looks a little messier though.

Today is 12-30-2021, I play on bedrock (xbox one) I built this Iron farm today in creative to make sure it'd work first then after a successful creative build I built it in my new survival world, after building it I did a 1 hour afk to test the rates, it produced 278 iron in 1 hour, not bad for a easy beginner farm...

I am a PE player. While building the iron farm,I tried to tame the cats but the "TAME" option didn't show up. So I even tried keeping a zombie so that villagers are terrified,still nothing happened. No iron golems. Infact,no iron golems spawned in any type of iron farm I built.

You have to use a fish and crouch a few block away and wait for it to crawl up to you so then you can take it

a process called “zombification” can change the behavior of green coat villagers, actually
#1 - let the green coat villagers bitten by any zombie, then “cure” them
#2 - the green coat villager “changed” his “behavior”, unlike before!
