I am glad you finally discovered this band, they are one of my favorite Japanese bands after LOVEBITES. Sakura is in the same league as Miyako and Saki in terms of skill and music composition and Junna is one of the top drummers in the same league as Haruna and Akane. You will definitely be happy checking out their other stuff, including the original line-up songs.
They used to have a dual lead guitar like LOVEBITES, the other guitarist was Mayto, and she is great too, you will want to check out her new band called Mana Diagram. The old Hagane singer is also in that band.
Another band I recommend checking out is Mellows. Excellent guitarists there and they rock hard. I suggest starting with the song called Pocket.

Via Junna's "Through the fire and the flames" cover video. *Insane* ! 😂 With her as new drummer, they will just "take off", like LOVEBITES did with Fami as bassist. Äctually Junna is holding back here. She was the first drummer of Trident, I think, and usually her style is the bratty little sister that is kicking your ass. Here she is trying a more grown up approach.
Defiinetely check her cover of "Through the fire and flames" by Dragonforce. Gee Anzalone (the drummer of Dragonforce) reacted to her cover and was besides himself with joy.
grown up approach my ass :D check out HAGANE song Hero Time, fastest double bass i've heard from her. Also she has broken bass drum yesterday during rehearsal, hammer went through it. So JUNNA is JUNNA, it's her nature to go wild during drumming xD

Great review! Junna originally belonged to an all-girl band called ``Trident.'' Girl bands like this do not exist in Southeast Asia or the entire Asian region, but may be unique to Japan. There are so many female bands in Japan, and many of them have incredible playing skills. Japanese high schools also have band activities, and Nara Ikuei High School has even covered Lovebites songs.
I said south east Asia and not just Japan because of Rolling Quartz out of Sout Korea and a couple bands I've found from China and I've been recommended one out of Tiwan. I've been very impressed by them all.
I definitely recommend checking out Junna's drum covers to get an idea of what you are dealing with!🙂

@@CommanderCronus I was never into pop music. It is just not my "cup of tea". But Japanese Metal musicians are just a breath of fresh air on the Metal market. Amazingly innovative new approaches to songwriting and performing. I am really looking forward to experiencing more from them.

Amazing band, I started listening to them about 2 years ago, they lost 3 members of their band, then held auditions for a vocalist. Then after a year they announced the new lineup. Nagi-san on vocals and Junna who is very well known for drummers. She used to play in the band called Trident, but she is well known for her covers.

this new lineup for HAGANE is destined for the big time. hope they keep it up for a long time. all members are awesome but junna just annihilates her kit into submission. jeezus what a force she is. i don't know how many more of these japanese girl groups i can take - all amazing and very attractive. it's almost too much. almost !
The amount of rising Japanese Metal bands and their talents is indeed _creepy_ . Just take the all-female ones. I do actually enjoy them, but it is somehow "too good to be true". Like in a dream. 😁 And yes, I too hope, that the current line-up of HÁGANE stays together for a long time.
