When I come out of that movie during its initial release, I told the people I was with that that’s the greatest movie I’ve ever seen, and in 2024, it still holds true, ( for me).

Ben brought much to this role as Harold Abrahams. Cross portrayed him with intensity, determination and a chip on his shoulder. It made for a marked contrast to the character of Eric Liddell portrayed by Ian Charleson.

I am soon to enter my 30th year of life after birth on this planet.
Part of my education has been that I watch and study films that were popular when my parents were young. Of all the films I've watched so far, Chariots of Fire is my favorite.
When I heard the title, I thought it would be a documentary about UFO's. Although I was confused at first, I was soon delighted to find a film about performance, my own performance in life being of utmost importance to me in my work. I've learned from this film, and I'm back today for a review, a refresher. In this clip, Abrahams goes through the 7 Stages of Grief with Sybil and emerges stronger for it, having dealt with his looking for Liddle, an error which he believes cost him the race, and finding peace within himself, having formed a plan of action for improvement in the coach, Sam Mussabini.

The enlightened soul like the moon casts it's light on all - supposedly an ancient Chinese poem. That dragon house book had to be placed there for me to find but find it I did. Tampopo and IMDb is real enough too.
Night Court's narration continues. Texas? Okay. Buzz Saw a light year and a go. Soho - Dan Fielding and a cricket bat given to John Larroquette aka Carl Sack and Lionel Tribbey by the Queen of England to knock the base bawl outta the Shea Stadium.
