Hi Kim. How about echoing around each of the dresden plates. Whatever number of times needed to be close to the next plate. Swirls that meander in all the negative space and fill in around all the swirls with pebbles or smaller swirls. I really like the curvy dresden plates. Looking forward to seeing the finished product however you choose to quilt it.
Lovely quilt. Since you did give ruler work as an option, would a grid in the background contrast with the curves and bring them out? Sure thing you would echo the flower plates first. Of course I am jealous because I can't get the hang of rulers
I would consider free motion quilting it using either a swirl chain or an elongated feather motif. Another option I would consider is ruler quilting various sized flowers using a very lightly contrasting thread so as not to draw the eye too much from the Dessden plates (which I like very much).
Çok güzel olmuş ellerinize sağlık ❤❤❤😊
Beautiful fabrics! I really like the smaller Dresden Plate blocks!
I would choose free motion quilting to this quilt. Thank you for this nice video
Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, I was thinking of maybe doing an echo around them first. Thanks for the ideas.
Very interesting technique Kim.
Thanks for watching!
`Great video and very informative. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would free motion quilt it with flowers
That's a great suggestion and reinforces the "flower" idea.
