"You wouldn't want to accidentally have some kind of symbol" -- girl I'm glad you kept rotating because that's exactly what I was seeing for a second there. 😬
OMG, the fabric roll you chose is so gorgeous that I just bought the same one lol. I'm going to make this for my granddaughters. I have 8 granddaughters and will do this in various colors of course. I may make my 11 grandsons the same but in boy colors. Now that is 19 grandchildren and no I didn't make any typos;. What a gorgeous quilt and it looks extremely easy and fast to make! Especially if ya do it in an assembly line! Thank you so much for the pattern and great tutorial.; I am now your biggest fan !
Thank You! I now have a great idea for my Jelly Roll! My question is how to make it larger? I need a rectangle for two 11 yr old boys to use. I need it to fit them. Any suggestions are appreciated!
You could add borders or add more blocks. If you make 3 more large blocks using 12 jelly roll strips, you'll get a 48" x 64" quilt. If you make 7 more large blocks using 28 jelly roll strips, you'll get a 64" x 64" quilt.
Yes - if you sewed 3 strips together with 2 jelly rolls, you could make a 72" x 84" quilt. It would be 12 6" finished blocks by 14 6" finished blocks and use exactly 84 jelly roll strips. (I believe my math is correct on that!)
Love the quilt. Super cute. However, the pattern isn’t quite “free”. You have to sign up to be a member for some monthly fee; although you can get this one pattern free if you want one month free trial. There always seems to be a catch. I think I’d rather pay the $2 than worry about remembering to cancel the membership.
I'm not sure where you're seeing a membership because I don't offer any membership options on my website or RUclips channel. Just watched this again!! I love it so much!!
That is soooo smart to use the lint roller on the edges of the roll! 🎉

Loce this pattern.
Would it work to make a bigger quilt if you had 2 jelly rolls the same, sewed 3 strips together, made 6.5 inch blocks, and made more blocks? Thanks.

Ok, found it in my email. The way it’s listed in Yahoo mail is weird. Thanks for responding.
