    This went from budget built garage truck to expensive shop truck really fast.😂 Love the build.

    I was excited to see a build that I could relate to.. the first tear down video and this is already so far beyond what I wish I would do to my truck.
    When truck builders say "something people can relate to", I don't think they know what the average Joe can afford.
    Still an exciting build and looking forward for the next video !

    As a guy who wanted to run some concave TE37s on a Corvette but dealer network was alway thin, love the wheels. Looking forward to the geometry video, as an old a body guy, I watch the tall spindle, tall ball joint, to AFX spindle learning curve.

    Love this build! I think it still falls in line of a budget build because the parts individually aren't super expensive. When you put all these parts together over a short period of time that's when it looks to be expensive. Most of us DIY'ers build over a longer time span and are buying parts 1 or 2 at a time. The most important take away here is not buying parts twice because you're trying to save a buck the first time around. Love that chassis stiffener!

      Thanks Jebb. Another aspect is that I’m trying to make something entertaining to watch as well.

    I'm looking forward to the suspension geometry video. I think it is going interesting to see what they do with that hooky dash, I would like to see something custom done with it.

    Do you know if the frame stiffners fit k1500 chassis? Trucks gonna be beast! A lot of similar parts id like to use for mine as well. Only thing id change is the filler neck, and do a dry brake instead. Always wanted one just because racecar lol

    • @level7motorsports
      @level7motorsports  7 месяцев назад +1

      The cool thing about this fill is that you can remove the cap and install their dry brake. The frame stiffener would fit the frame but it wouldn’t have room for a transfer case. Thanks for watching btw!

    Hey just wanted to say, i love the outlook on the build and want to compair what is different from my build and how the two could stand up against each other. BTW what are your plans for mirrors for the truck? Ive got a different solution than anything out there. Drive fast Take chances!

      @level7motorsports  7 месяцев назад

      You’re totally right but what I have to do is buy them all up front so that I can show you what to spend your hard earned money on and how to avoid issues.

    “Budget friendly” my ass

    • @level7motorsports
      @level7motorsports  7 месяцев назад

      For a competition vehicle the “budget” is always subjective. I can appreciate that everyone has their own definition of what that is. What I’m going to show you is how to spend your money in the areas that are important. 8 think you will learn a lot and have fun along the way!
