Ac tech here 🖐🏾 I leaned sometimes you got to be understanding and consider doing jobs for cheaper to gain another client and help them w their problem than kick them to the curb and not help out. The country is going thru a rough time. I’m saying reality is you do your little $800 toilet o ring replacement once and not get a call back or do it for the reasonable price plus get called back for other jobs while the client is freaking out that your going to charge an arm and a leg for.
Agree! one of my buddy needs a new roof. Complete tear out on a flat roof was around $7-8 grand in this area in 2018, now its $32 grand for the same thing. As a ex mechanic and a current business owner in a different industry, labor went up a tad, same with insurance and building materials but 4-5x the price in just 6 years is asinine. Guess greed is good lol
Newsflash: Handymen run businesses as well chief. Many contractors perform shoddy work. There’s a general distrust of service providers nowadays specifically because of contractors screwing over homeowners, so please stop with the sweeping generalizations. Bottom line is - no matter who you are, have character, do a good quality job, do it to code, and meet/exceed the customer’s expectations. We’ve all been inside many a wall, crawlspace, attic, electrical panel, bathroom and seen some ridiculousness and shortcuts. That’s not all on the shoulders of the unlicensed my friend.
Had a guy say “you guys make more than the president! It’s ridiculous!” Have fun with getting a real plumber 1-2 years down the line when you’re “appropriately” priced plumber of $50/hour proceeds to destroy your home 😂
If you're looking for cheap trades, learn how to do it yourself!!! May take you longer and cost you $$$ for the tools upfront, but after 1 job it probably paid for itself, you learned something and a dollar saved is a dollar earned!!!
Ya know, the “pros” that don’t know what they are doing still charge top dollar.
U got dat right Lorian!
Let’s go! 🔥

Your van is worth a grand buddy, on a good day when it’s running …stop your complaining and feed your family.

Lots of tradesmen do NOT know their value. I have zero skills, so I appreciate those who do.
That's one way to insult people who watch these videos to save some bucks by doing it themselves.
If you get insulted by a plumbing video on shorts, you might need to reevaluate your life and feelings lmaooo
Is it better to use screws than to use HVAC tape on the flue pipe? Just interested in learning, and awesome video! 👍
You can just use both and you're even better
Here code requires 3 screws per joint. You can use tape in addition if you want, but it's not necessary.
@@goose92537 Thank you for explaining Goose!
Was that recirculation ?
Tell em what time it is brother.
True that!!!

This is the way
The cheapest price isn't always the best deal.
Someone who doesn’t properly support an expansion tank is not a pro.
You're right! Greets from Germany
Well said my friend. Well said
✌️❤️🙏✝️
If I had a dollar for every complaint you made in this video I’d be one rich bucko ! Save the whining for the ladies buddy.

Over price bull crap! I’ll just do it myself! Crybaby!!
I’ll be there when you screw it up 👍
