Do you know are there any mechanical differences between a 200 pro xs and 225/250hp pro xs? Or is it just mapping? It would be good to buy a 200 and release another 50 horses hiding in there🙂

@@FishingMonthly I see they have both 225 v6 and V8. Sorry. I have the 225 v6 that's why I said that. Has nothing to do with youtube. I also have a 300 verado. Wich is the order super charged v6. The v6 225 is a tiny but more fuel efficient and lighter.

I just ordered a Tracker 19WT with the 225 ProXS and power steering. I cant wait to put the throttle down on this bad boy!

So what is your fuel burn @ 4000 RPMs? MPG and GPH? I have this engine coming in 3 weeks on a boat comparable to weight on this boat.

As far as I know there’s no parts different. Play with mapping at your own risk!
When he said there is a button you can push to make the engine quiet and go into stealth mode what V8 model is that on?
It's on the Verado versions. And it's more to take them out of the standard 'quiet' mode and it makes them sound like a proper V8 at low revs.
Okay I thought the quiet mode was on the Pro XS. I guess the Pro XS will always have that powerful V8 sound.

It achieved the maximum speed allowed on that waterway of 40knots with lots of RPM left. 😂

1:36 my 08 20ft Bullet bass boat with 08 Mercury 225 sport XS sportmaster lower unit does 84mph, it would blow your new 225 V8 bass boat away!
