Oistins is a coastal fishing town located roughly 25 minutes southeast of Bridgetown, along the parish of Christ Church in the country of Barbados.
The area includes a fishing village as well a hot spot for tourist every Friday and Saturday night, hundreds of local and visitors flock to Oistins for the famous Fish Fry and mingle. It's a popular tourist destination where they visit the local bars and vendors, (like the Legendary Fish Cake) to experience the authentic local food and culture of Barbados. It's where the fishing boat returns to offload their daily caught and where you will find Bajan traditional cuisine at it best.
