    Excellent and complete review! I love my Supra Steel and would buy it again at any time!

      Thank you. This pen is great. But, as I said, I prefer the Steel version...

    I’m buying the Supra Steel soon, because although brass is great, I like copper even better, and stainless steel best. 🙂 This is a great pen, and that #6 nib is so very welcome. The option of using that detachable extender piece is a winner. It caters to a wider market of finicky buyers. It suits us all. I rarely post my pens (only the pocket ones) and I know that I’ll be using my Supra pen when I get it with the extender always attached for the full size feel and of course no cap posting. Perfect. A complete review as always. And oh, this pen is priced just so right.

      I see you use your pens the same way I do. I also prefer the steel version but they are the same pen, just a different material. The review of the steel version will be out soon, maybe next week but, in your case, I see it will not make any difference in your decision.
      By the way, I replied to the comment you made on the Montegrappa Fortuna Heartwood Teak, just to let you know I may be selling it soon...

      OdE ..I’d gladly watch your review of the Supra Steel, despite already deciding to definitely buy the pen in July. And yes, I normally dislike posting pens, and thank god the Supra pen is designed with the option for non-posters like me. And I want to use a converter, not the cartridge with this pen. One reason why I never bought the Lilliput is because it’s much too small and slim for my tastes and I’d be forced to screw post the cap every time. But that’s also an otherwise very nice pen. The Supra pen is pure class in clean, minimalist design. But the steel guarantees it for a lifetime. And your review and some other commenters confirm that it’s a swell writer. So I’m excited to get it. Why not review the Elite sometime? Or the All Rounder.

      No, it is a different cartridge system and it is not compatible.

    Paulo, I am so tempted to get this pen, but the flaw that you mentioned is a deal breaker for me. I like my Liliput, but I like my Sport better as a pocket pen because it pushes to post. The extra time it takes to thread the Liliput to post makes it less convenient to use for quick notes...which is what I use pocket pens for. This video put me in the mood to get a new pen.

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  4 года назад

      These pens are great - and I really like them -, these and the Liliput. But they are not pens to write with quickly, just to carry easily.
      About new pens... Did you get a Parker Junior Duofold already?

    Hi Paulo, thank you for this detailed review! Could you please confirm if the shortened Supra (so, without the added piece) would be fully compatible with the Kaweco small converter which is made for the Sport models?

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  3 года назад

      Hi! Sorry for the late reply. No the converter - the syringe type - will not fit. When the barrel is screwed it will depress the rod.

  • @docfrayon
    @docfrayon 2 года назад +1

    Hi, could you give us a few references of converters compatible with this pen ?

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  6 месяцев назад +1

      Sorry for the late reply, but the international converters are compatible, if you use the pen with its barrel in full length.

    Beautiful pen. A two tone nib would match the colour perfectly..but too many turns for my taste to open it..thx for the review

    Beautiful design. I however dislike the clash between the copper-colored clip and the brass-colored body. I'd prefer a more contrasting clip, like silver or black.

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  4 года назад +1

      For the Supra the only clip available is the Bronze one. I guess Kaweco will make other variations sooner or later. If you prefer you can use it without clip. Actually the clip is not included with the pen when you buy one.

    I got the stainless steel version a few days back. But the nib was so dry that it was unusable. Luckily the seller send me a new nib section for the pen

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita

      Kaweco is very good with customer care and replacements. So I guess the retailers of the brand tend to be the same.

      @@OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita What I did notice is that these nibs write a lot smoother then their usual #5 nibs
      The first nib was very dry but it was super smooth nonetheless. I thought that smoothness was just luck. I now got a replacement nib and this one is just as smooth.
      Its really impressive how smooth these are. Would be nice if Kaweco made some more pens with these #6 nibs

    • @sajjadhusain4146
      @sajjadhusain4146 4 года назад +1

      Christian ...so cool to hear about the smoothness of these Supra nibs. And I agree that Kaweco should consider giving us more #6 nibbed pens. Check out the Kaweco Elite if you haven’t already. I love the look, feel and performance of that full sized pen with a very dependable, very pleasurable #6 steel nib , in Broad, as is my main preference. The Elite is a bit pricier than the Supra.

    Thank you. Paulo. Its is quite a handsome pen, I like the contrast of the copper clip? against the brass body. I like the bigger nib which looks right on a pen this size and it appears to write nicely.
    However, for a pocket pen, it is quite heavy but worse than that the number of turns to remove the cap would drive me insane, I think that is too many in anyone's book. Sorry, its a bit negative but I must be honest in my comments Paulo.
    Take care, best regards.

    • @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita
      @OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita  4 года назад +1

      You are free to express yourself. I do not look at this pen as a pocket pen. I think this is more for long writing sessions. That way the turns of the cap are not that bad because you will keep it uncapped wille writing and not capping and uncapping constantly. I ike this pen but I like much more the steel version.

    I wish you could get the supra without the middle bit at a reduced price...
    And that the Liliputaner would also be offered an optional middle section 😂
    BTW...the way you pronounce Kaweco...could you be Portuguese?
