Well it’s called a contract. Often times I’ve seen with Netflix they get a big star to do one of their movies they are usually contracted to do multiple movies look at Joey king, Millie Bobby brown ( granted those 2 were basically unknown before, but yea my point still stands, when they sign someone they particularly like they sign them to a longer term contract, often there’s a number of movies or tv shows in the contract, that they are required to do before they can be released from said contract. And yes I realize I used the word “contract multiple times in a row”

I love this mode of television, especially when Nicole Kidman is in it. It's also really nice to see Liev Schreiber as a lead after he had such a great turn in Asteroid City last year.

@@rcov9747 Nicole has made comments that her natural hair has been very damaged, and if you have to style your hair every day for a thirty to forty or fifty day movie shoot, that can be very difficult…it’s music easier to just style a wig. Plus, Kidman almost always wears wigs. I don’t think we have seen her original hair since 1994.
She’s a producer on all these projects, if she wants to do these roles that’s her choice.
