Hi, I'm a krav maga instructor in Italy and I want to tell you that you're really very good. Beautiful techniques and well executed. good job! Also beautiful as you have mounted the video. Naturally it applies to all your videos
Woman holding the pads at the start is pretty tough herself, all those strikes had power and she absorbed them well. A lot of people can’t hold pads properly and give good resistance to strikes as that is a skill and form of conditioning in itself.
Nabil Abdulrashid she is awesome. Life long martial artist. With a considerable amount of time in the cage, training and teaching Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga, as well as a background in traditional martial arts. She is humble and respectful in her approach to fighting. She’s quite an asset to the martial arts community as well as our gym.

@@KravMagaDesoto Yes the Krav Maga and BBJ is a deadly combination. I'm think of learning Krav Maga here in the U.K, to assist with my Wing Chun (which I feel I'm at amateur level but also this style lacks ground fighting technique) that's why I want something more rounded/complete.
I haven't always been a fan of everything I see in Krav Maga but you could say that about any art. I was actually surprised by how well rounded it is all around. Way more groundwork than I would have expected. It really has drawn from a lot of the best parts of other arts. Always helps to have a practitioner though. The movement was fantastic here.
Groundwork is really an option of last resort in Krav Maga though, because you’ve already made a lot of mistakes if you end up there. Ground fights may work in the ring, but it’s best to avoid it in a real life scenario.
I don't believe most krav systems have a lot of BJJ stuff or groundwork. This guys association or even him himself probably put more BJJ in there. Which overall is more effective but nevertheless a lot of krav organizations don't do it.
Good evening. After looking on the internet, you tube, etc. I think your krav maga belts resume videos are the most complete and easy to assimilate. Just to be perfect, a video with mittens simulating different attacks and defenses. or not, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn from a distance. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I loved watching this. I'm waiting for an injury to heal so I have Krav withdrawal. At my school UMA Chicago, I think after 5 plus years I got to do most of whats in this video (Curriculums vary) but it was a reminder of how much I managed to learn so far so I wont be discouraged in continuing. Remember for us guys over 40 dont overtrain and allow recovery time.
Sorry, I’m just now getting to replying. I hope your injuries are healed and you’re back on the mats. Man, I wish someone would have given me your advice many years ago. I’m in my 29th year of training and I’ve injured myself more ignoring injuries than any training partner ever has.
Mike and Sara are 2 of the best instructors I have ever worked with. I trained with Mike’s school for several years and it was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I would still be in there had I not relocated and I miss it very much. Great video Mike and the KMA team!
Thank you for taking the time to do this. If I could go back and do this over, I would subtitle all of the techniques. This turned into a much larger project than I ever had imagined when I started. I was ready to get it done and give my computer and brain a break lol. Krav Maga Alliance does have an excellent app on Android and IPhone that has videos of most of the techniques individually.
I salute you Sir! what a video, Ive only been doing Krav for a year and this video has given me a quick view of whats to come, so thank you for your time spent making this video. Kida!! G
Very good video, I asked my instructor to help me get to black belt by end of 2023, although I have lower-back problems so some of the ground stuff here will be difficult for me, I think (as it's his own federation) we may be able to find a solution. But even though he knows KM of course, this video can become a framework for me to work with over the year. Thanks!!!!
Awesome job, one of the best quickly demonstration over the KM Program. Great Job, is a pleasure to see good videos like this one. Master Whitman, thank you to be my mentor and instructor. Always creating great instructor like this man.
*I currently train at a Krav Maga school and it's funny because, I see a lot of the same moves but, I also see a few differences as well which is understandable. I recently got my Yellow Belt and am working on getting my orange belt by the end of the year to early next year. I have a lot of experience with MMA (boxing, kickboxing, grappling, BJJ, etc.) so Krav Maga comes a lot easier for me but, I really enjoy it. I also train with a boxing coach on Saturdays. Excellent video!*
I took this class and everything that I am seeing is what we practiced. Do to the pandemic we were unable to have contact. But this video is very helpful and good. Thanks!
Very inspiring. Great speed and aggression, awesome demo, has given me a level to aspire to in the next few years. Thanks for posting, will be back to watch when if I feel my motivation waning 👍🏽
Very nice work. Great kicks and fantastic ground fighting. Lovely technique and demonstration. I really enjoy watching your videos and I am a G5 (Brown Belt) Krav Maga Instructor from Scotland. Keep up the great videos guys bravo Kida
This is true. By Nature, Krav Maga is an evolving system. I think how it evolves depends on a lot on the demographic and laws of where it is taught. We have people ask if we teach “Real Israeli Krav Maga.” I totally understand what they are asking, but if we are being true to the system how I would teach in different parts of the world will have some differences. Most fights go to the ground here. I don’t have statistics. However, talking to friends in Israel that are first responders, it doesn’t seem to be nearly as high of a threat as weapons. When it boils down, we don’t teach art or novelty. People trust us to give them the skills to protect themselves. We must hold that responsibility in high regard and not be blind to the most common threats where we teach.
Whomever has this man as a teacher should be lucky because he is awesome. I am sure he will be happy to show you his affiliation to some of the best in the world. He is defo legit.
I did KM for several years. I’m not a quick learner and I often found it hard to remember the precise steps for each technique. But I did find over time that I got the gist of some basic defensive attitudes and actions that became ingrained. But, for someone like me who was always worried about “doing it wrong in front of the instructor” it was pretty stressful. I think it was like performance anxiety. Is that something you see in some of your students?
Totally agree. These moves take a heck of alot of time to become automatic responses. Alot of schools promote that you can grade every 3 to 4 months which is nonsense. Take your time and learn it right. It took me 4 years to get to p5
This is a great question. I’m going to give my two cents and also have Sara weigh in on this with a follow-up comment. In my experience, analytical personality types do tend to struggle. By nature, Krav Maga puts an emphasis on training under stress, building stress inoculation and understanding that the techniques will deteriorate under that stress. Ultimately, a technique will never be perfect in this environment. It does improve over time, but the boundaries are always being set further out as you learn to deal with that stress. This is similar to competitive pistol shooting. The targets, timers, obstacles, and malfunctions are always changing. Perfect aim is not the goal. The goal is navigating quickly under stress while hitting center mass. Look at Krav Maga the same way. Jiu-Jitsu is to Krav Maga what long range rifle shooting is to combat pistol shooting. One is not better than the other - aim and precision is important in all, but the focus and ultimate goal is different. Don’t get frustrated. I train Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga. I’m analytical minded myself and Jiu Jitsu is more mentally rewarding to me when I train but I trust the mindset and training merits in Krav Maga to keep me safe in a real life situation.
Hi, Kingston. Sara here - Mike asked me to comment and give you my thoughts. It does take time and repetition to make the responses precise and instinctual. This is part of why the rank process is slower in Krav Maga than many other martial arts/fighting systems. I have seen this out of our students and experienced it myself. Over time, I’ve found that folks get more comfortable with me watching and critiquing. We all mess up sometimes - it’s part of the learning process. Don’t be afraid to get it wrong. What matters is continuing to rep and train. A good instructor will be able to give you good pointers. My best advice is try not to stress over an instructor watching - it’s their job to help you improve and teach you the concepts and techniques.
amazing video. been training k m for years. ka ju jem bo also. this video show s your effort and willing to practice often. the flow the approuches the blocking etc is perfect. wonderful job the blimas and gilguls. 👍👍
Excellent control and power! Pretty good stretch on some of those kicks, not sure we call go do those high kicks. I like the bjj ground defense with the knee shield and some upkicks. Good stuff.
Krav Maga...yes people these technique do work! I truly Respect these training! Because I have use one of these technique and it work A component was trying to pick me up and throw me to the ground, and they could not with one of the KRAV MAGA moves. I also know Taekwondo, but I learn it's best to know as much as Martial Art of all forms! Jeet Kune Do,Krav Maga, jiu-jitsu, Wing Chun, Karate....but I love Martial Arts..and it's such a great work out, mentally and harmony.
@Darth Skeletroll 2.0 Not Gullible, U are, Sad that U dont understand, the concept of Martial Arts, not my fault you Dont get it!🥋 Ha,Ha....so you may just wanna stop right now before you embarrass yourself . I see that your a troll not gonna respond to any more of your nonsense 👊👊
Lol commenting again but.. I can tell this school is good and probably emphasises on some sparring because all the strikes look legit. They’re kicking and punching with good boxing /k1 technique and the grappling form looks good too as does the footwork. People in this gym definitely can defend themselves
My issue with KM: tried to go back as an out of shape middle aged guy (did 10 yrs Goju in my20's-30's). Separated my shoulder in the 4th week. The only KM school in Westchester NY had a guest instructor for a class. I was restricted due to my shoulder, and feeling week and dizzy during intense warm up one night. He approached me (and he was half my age) in front of everyone, and when I explained what was going on he told me to either immediately resume the warm up, or get out of his class immediately. I felt sick, and I had to go to work, so injuring myself seemed futile. I left, feeling quite embarrassed. When I asked the owner/teacher he didn't seem to care. I never returned.
Well, yes in general; but when schools tout their accreditation and certifications I would expect some type of oversight from the people who supply that certification.
Jointlock Very sorry to hear that. Sounds like you had egotistical turds for instructors. Nearly four years of KM training up to 4 times a week with annual visits from Itay Gil whose just been appointed to the Israeli Martial Arts Federation board, and is a former YAMAM Israeli domestic counter-terrorist operator and now CEO of Protect Israeli Security Solutions. My school and instructors were always respectful and interested in the wellbeing of its students and Itay was always excellent to train under. Sorry you had bad luck in having lousy KM schools nearby.
That is quite unfortunate indeed. The person who has provided the class at that location should not give classes on anything relating to any martial art. What is sad in that is Krav is one that prides itself in being adaptable to everyone. Itay Gil speaks in that sense. I have had people with disabilities (wheelchair, or missing limb) come to class and techniques are/were adapted for such situations. Of course some dont work (you cant block a leg kick if you have a wheelchair, mind you people wouldnt instinctly attack someones leg in such case....) so the focus is directed towards danger for them. And yes there is a different/special curriculum for people living with disabilities. In your case it was nothing of such an extreme. Working around your situation should have been child play for a real Teacher. My problem with Krav Maga is that tok many people get a weekend certification, understand nothing of the psychology of violence or the full system of krav maga then claim to be instructors to collect moneys. Its a problem all Arts have faced when they become popular. It just hurts to see it happen.
Great video, wished u had included the name of the move/technique to be able to relate from the book. This helped my son training for yellow belt and he will use for future belt testing.
I hoping that we can contact train soon as the coronavirus has school on hold due to the quarantine Do I visualize train at the moment. Glad I saw this video
You’re not alone my friend. These are trying times. I’ve had many injuries and life events that kept me from training for short intervals of time. I have always seemed to bounce back without feeling behind. Your mind is still studying and your body is resting and recovering. We need that break sometime and often don’t give it to ourself without a breaking point. I believe we will all bounce back stronger than ever. We as a community will get through this.
As a former Blue belt in KRAV WW I would say the system is a superb all around system. IT may get you killed in the ring or cage but it will save your life in the streets. This is the best alternative to MMA. Some people are better off in Krav and others are better off in MMA. Both are good.
Thank you for the post. I just want to take an effective defense system that will teach me how to survive a violent life and death / kill or be killed scenario. I have no time for competitions, or taking it slow for control; I may not have that luxury. What I see here is beautiful and complete. KM seems to have all that I need (ground defenses, weapon defenses and aggression). Thank you for your post.
Only reason it might get you killed in mma is cause the moves are illegal and you might get jumped my multiple mma guys,i here mma guys say its not real all the time, lol,we don't need an audience nor get to tap out,its very real.MMA is good also but they need shut up about krav maga
Yes. It started with me wanting to show my interpretation of the KMA curriculum and it turned out to be a much larger project than I ever imagined. I plan to repeat this again in the future after I’ve had enough time to forgot how agonizing it was to edit it all together lol.
Nice work! Small tip: invest in a few Blue Guns for your long-arm defences. Pump shotguns, AKs, ARs and pistols are all available in weighted versions for an added feel of authenticity in training.
Iconoclasticnation we do have RAM pistols and rifle sims. For the video we don’t want the appearance of using live weapons. Too many crazy folks on RUclips lol. I would love to have some of the weighted blue guns but I’d have to up our tuition to pay what the vendors want for those bad boys lol.
Great execution and control during practice. (without hurting his partners). All these techniques would be effective and possibly lethal during a real confrontation. I love the sound effects too. Fantastic!
A very respectable martial art. To hell with the nay sayers. I will say however in this video, the striker’s strikes are often very “pushy” without snap. Top notch demo though.
Toby Wilson you are correct on the emphasis of not snapping. Krav Maga focuses heavily on follow through and making the most of each strike. This is due to the integration with weapon defenses where striking strategy is less important. Doing as much damage as possible with the initial strike while the threat is less expecting of non-compliance. If you check out some of our sparring/MMA class videos you can see how we attempt to keep some symmetry for our cross training students while utilizing the footwork, fakes, and jabs more familiar to boxing and Thai.
Shawn Martinez Shawn Martinez Revgear and a few other suppliers make shin guards that go over street shoes. Outside of that, we just use regular kickboxing and MMA equipment for sparring. There are also full body protective suits that allow for a defender to not require gear to strike full contact on the wearer. These are quite expensive and only used on occasion for seminars. If you look through our RUclips channel you’ll see some videos of us sparring. Admittedly, we don’t always allow groin strikes and elbows when we spar. We also have an MMA program so the programs often combine when it comes to sparring.
Some of the techniques are sloppy, like 7:27 the bald guy would be triangle choked by a BJJ fighter, for this guard pass he needs to hide his left arm from the opponent legs, now is very easy to triangle him.
Oreskó László maybe that bald guy will try Jiujitsu one day lol. Krav Maga specifically focuses on the bare bones necessity of surviving a street fight. The beauty is in the simplicity. We encourage students to cross train in Jiujitsu and Muay Thai. This is important to not over complicating the system. This is the same old bald dude doing some weird pajama stuff ruclips.net/video/YkAPE7XUWII/видео.html
Every affiliation is a little different. We don’t wear belt in our Krav Maga program. The minimum time I will rank a student to Black Belt is 7 years and they must have have had one full contact fight (can be boxing, KB, or MMA) and be able to competently grapple with a BJJ purple belt.
Bryan Varela not the sound itself. It’s just exhaling during the punch. In all athletics breathing is critical. To be honest, in a self defense context, we should be yelling instead. It wouldn’t go over well with our neighbors lol.
I’m new to Self Defense and MMA so I need to ask for my sake: It seems like KM, as well as other self defense forms, relies on your attacker not knowing how to fight. Most of the set ups involve common, but poorly planned attacks. Bear hugs? Two handed strangle holds? Those are like drunken bar fight moves. So the question is, how does hold up against a trained attacker?
J Platter that assessment is pretty accurate. I wouldn’t say not knowing how to fight necessarily. I would say the average guy in the street. If you pull up a hundred street videos on RUclips you’ll see more stuff like what Krav Maga focuses on than what you see in MMA. That being said, Krav Maga is not the end all. It’s meant to address the most common street altercations and give you the frame work to address most things. We advocate and have a Jiujitsu and MMA program at our academy that many of our Krav Maga students cross train in. This does not make MMA or Jiujitsu training better. There is a rule set in these disciplines. Krav Maga is like a buffet focusing on every food group. Ultimately it should eventually be paired with more extensive ground, hand gun (if legal in your state), and include sparring/contact at some point. In fact, KMA required a full contact sport fight before black belt. That is not a feat that should be ventured into without some specialized training.
Thank you for clarifying that! And I see your point too- cross training in other disciplines would help fill in the education, and (Ideally) exhaust the number of solutions you would have for various situations. I appreciate the honest response, and at the very least, I'm glad my observational skills are on target!
@@KravMagaDesoto - This is very true. Krav takes a bit of everything and makes it work for the street. I practiced in Krav for a number of years until I quit for personal reasons (my estranged brother was very close friends with the person who run the club and I couldn't go anymore). Loved Krav and sad there's no other club near me. The minor issue with Krav however is that there are good schools and bad schools. I trained at a good club with KMG and if you're Mike himself, you really know your stuff! The curriculum at KMD Self-Defense looks really good and is trained by someone who looks like they have a background in kick boxing. I would say from experience that the people who tend to move up the grades quickly in Krav are people who've competed or have extensive experience in Kick Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu etc. They're used to dealing with stressful situations and not freezing. They're in good shape and less likely to get tired (when mistakes creep into techniques) so will do well in gradings. I've always thought of Krav as the icing on a cake. You're more likely to really see the benefits if you cross train in something else or have trained before.
Russel Renz Nerosa hi Russel. We fly the flag from each country of origin of the systems that our academy represents. We have a Kali program as well as Krav Maga, Jiujitsu, and kickboxing.
You don't morally subdue a opponent in the army. But like the net is so quick to do don't talk down any combat system. These guys have extreme conditioning classes and also have their own juijitsu coach. They are no joke. These guys become efficient really fast. Nothing wrong with stealing techniques like mma.
I think krav maga is a art of it own. Very unique. Has a good technique base as well as practitioners around the world. Compared to other combat systems bouncers and military guys open schools with.
Can this be utilized successfully by (age: +40) more seasoned students. I can see the ice baths, aleve, ointments and mummy wraps on those who try. I do not me simply join and do a lil this and that, but actually go up the ranks.
The Engineer - our academy has students of all ages. One of my students who is now a black belt started at age 63. Not going to lie, that Aleve and ice baths definitely accompany any type of training of this nature. That goes with any sport or exercise though. I think the greater concern to address is the risk of injury. Krav Maga is designed for self defense. If we injure ourselves in training, we can’t defend ourselves when we need it. Everyone goes at their own pace. There isn’t a competitive atmosphere. The instructors that are certified by Krav Maga Alliance go through rigorous training that includes safety in training for each and every technique that we teach. You should check out a class and see what you think. Your humble demeanor and dedication to personal safety makes you a perfect candidate for Krav Maga.
Guybrush Threepwood couple of reasons. First is that remembering to breath and exhaling through the strikes is a part of most striking systems. Why I choose to make verbal noises is a personal reminder to make noise during a self defense situation. It’s just more professional on a video to make a sound rather than to yell profanities and other things lol. Ultimately, in a life or death altercation noise is a good thing.
Have been looking into "is krav maga really effective" videos, stumbled upon this one. This one actually looks good, not that bullshit defense techniques against knives and guns.
agauerm weapon defenses are an integral part of the system. Not all weapon defenses are created equal though. Most importantly, there is not a super hero mentality. We don’t want to go into a weapon fight without a force equalizer. We don’t intend to protect our money with these technique. They are there when there is no other option. I would rather, run, shoot, or use a chair before engaging hands on. It’s like a life insurance policy. You don’t get excited to use it.
Phillip Taylor Technically it should. Imi, the founder of Krav Maga, was a wrestler and boxer himself. The system takes from many styles and adapts them for the average person to use in a self defense situation. Krav Maga on a professional level should appear more as MMA than what would be expected from a student of the respected levels shown. There is an emphasis on training and applying Krav Maga techniques under stress. That element is missing here as it is meant to be a technical overview rather than an demonstration of the system. To answer your question though, I was an ammy kickboxer a few blue moons ago. I also competed in traditional martial arts as a kid. My last decade of training has been more Jiujitsu than stand-up.
Hi Jesse. This is Krav Maga Alliance. Our Founder, John Whitman , was with Worldwide for many years and helped shape the curriculum. I also trained with WW through brown belt. For the most part, the curriculum is parallel with the long gun defenses and ground work being what differs the most. There are some detail differences here and there, but we speak the same dialect.
Vladimir L you are correct. You’ll notice a lot of overlap when comparing effective self defense system. Jiujitsu and Krav Maga compliment each other very well.
Sergioj97 I can’t speak for Krav Maga. I personally know many Krav Maga instructors who also practice Jiu-Jitsu and many Jiujitsu instructors who also practice Krav Maga. There are elitists in every system that think they practice the ultimate system. The truth is it depends on your goals, environment, laws, athletic ability, and time you are able to dedicate to training. I believe that every martial art is the best in which it is designed to be. Some are just confused as to what their system is designed for. Sometimes they know and choose to market it in a way that doesn’t fit. It’s not Football. No need to choose a “best team”.
KMD Self-Defense I completely agree with you. I think many people ignore the "time you are able to dedicate to training" thing when they completely discard krav maga and suggest you go and train boxing, Muay Thai and BJJ instead.
Looks pretty but the attacker isn't offering any follow up resistance they are just standing there. How do we know that it actually works if it's not tested ?
Lou Gualario by training. You don’t actually learn anything by watching videos. This is for people who train and need a refresher on the movements. As far as legitimacy of its effectiveness I guess it’s plausible that Krav Maga has many military and law enforcement agencies around the world fooled :-).
Lou Gualario if you are looking to compare systems it really comes down to you personally. What I would choose for someone with a CCW would be different than for someone who lives where they can’t carry. I’ve spent almost 30 years training various martial arts. I personally train wrestling, BJJ, Dog Brothers, Krav Maga, and pistol craft. Not everyone has time for that. They key to productive self defense training is to be honest with yourself and find your vulnerabilities. Find a system that caters to building expertise in that area. No one system is perfect.
Why is there always at least one idiot who brings this up? It's a demonstration of techniques. Why is it so hard for you people to understand those 2 words?
Love this, but that roll and kick thing at 3:20 doesn't really look like a good idea. Even an untrained individual would be pressuring forward much more aggressively than the girl in the video. They will fall right into your back if you expose it that way. There's nothing preventing the opponent from passing your guard if you roll exposing your back like that. And of course if it's a trained person he will be on your back as soon as you do that and probably will ask himself for weeks why on Earth would you do something so stupid. If you want to free your foot there are other techniques available. For the worst case in that open guard scenario you usually step on his hip with your opposite leg, and realign yourself with him. But come on, don't expose your back like that, specially with literally nothing preventing your opponent from taking it. Defend your back at all costs, specially in a self defense situation.
Sergioj97 the roll is not intentional. The technique is meant to address an attacker that has grabbed your foot and is twisting it. Many of the techniques in the Krav Maga curriculum are designed from points of disadvantage when you’re primary reaction was too slow or when you are caught off guard. Compare it to rolling with a with a heel hook in BJJ. The better answer is to not expose the heel to the attack.
KMD Self-Defense Well, now it at least I understand the purpose of the movement! However I still believe that in the heelhook situation there are still some obstacles if your opponent tries to take your back while rolling, and I believe in this case it's just a straight path to the back if your opponent wants to! Anyway, this is only my opinion. These are wonderful techniques and your academy seems to incarnate all of what I believe krav maga should be! I actually link this videos to anyone who seems to misunderstand what kind of training krav maga does. I would like to congratulate you for that. I would love to train in your academy if I lived closer! There's some people who seem to believe this is about esoterical pressure point fighting or all about kicking the groin.
c-f-productions.com yes, we do. We generally offer our experience on an as needed basis to address specific solutions to threats that our client’s request. Our affiliation parents Krav Maga Alliance and Roy Dean Academy have great baseline tutorials already in place.
I would sooo get myself kicked or hit in the head if practicing these awesome moves. I can just see myself not moving or ducking right and taking a shin straight to the face.
So I came to a conclusion no matter how hard you train theirs always a time you get killed I mean you can't be godlike like I mean even Samson from the bible got killed but anyways this at least gives you an understanding on how to counter attack common attacks at least your not going to stand their not knowing what the hell to do yes you can be hit it's not like this coreagraphed fighting style is hit proof neither does it guarantee that A will lead to B, C & D where you yank the Gun or knife away from the opponent curling in pain cause his festivals just got blessed you might have gotten shanked before you even got to B no marital art is 100% the best or the perfect art to deal with multiple opponents with weapons on them but if you train different kind of martial art you can increase your chances of survival but you know what's even best to not lose a fight not get into one in the first place just hold your pride in your chest
Finally I see some correct Krav Maga here on RUclips!
Hi, I'm a krav maga instructor in Italy and I want to tell you that you're really very good. Beautiful techniques and well executed. good job! Also beautiful as you have mounted the video. Naturally it applies to all your videos

Agreed from a former level 1 instructor
This is so good. The moves are so precise and the strikes are so clean.
Thanks

Way more groundwork than I would have expected. It really has drawn from a lot of the best parts of other arts. Always helps to have a practitioner though. The movement was fantastic here.
The only problem I have is the knife fighting stuff
Groundwork is really an option of last resort in Krav Maga though, because you’ve already made a lot of mistakes if you end up there. Ground fights may work in the ring, but it’s best to avoid it in a real life scenario.
@@jocke1972disagree entirely, a superior grappler/Jiu Jitsu guy has absolute control on the ground in a one on one fight, in or outside of the ring

Please let me know if there's timing I need to change
Thank you for taking the time to do this. If I could go back and do this over, I would subtitle all of the techniques. This turned into a much larger project than I ever had imagined when I started. I was ready to get it done and give my computer and brain a break lol. Krav Maga Alliance does have an excellent app on Android and IPhone that has videos of most of the techniques individually.
Thank you, we appreciate you
@@KravMagaDesoto make it again man. It would be amazing.
Keep up the great videos guys bravo

It was a pleasure to see your video.
Very good job !
Magnificent! 👍🏾 I would love to be trained by this guy!
This is awesome to watch. Finally, some actual Krav
It does look like John from Alliance has expanded on the grappling from World Wide Krav. This is very good !!
Very good video. I am an instructor of Krav Maga, and my way of working is very similar. Very good gym. A greeting.
This video gives Krav Maga a good rep and good credibility. It's like MMA plus Combaives and Weapons
Thanks 🙏
@@KravMagaDesoto yes sir. I'm gonna study krav maga and bjj
Whomever has this man as a teacher should be lucky because he is awesome.
I am sure he will be happy to show you his affiliation to some of the best in the world.
He is defo legit.
Very impressed. Lots more ground work and high kicks than I expected in a Krav Syllabus but the guy defo has skills 👍🏻
This Lady is awesome! I like her :-)

Krav Maga...yes people these technique do work!
I truly Respect these training! Because I have use one of these technique and it work
A component was trying to pick me up and throw me to the ground, and they could not with one of the KRAV MAGA moves. I also know Taekwondo, but I learn it's best to know as much as Martial Art of all forms! Jeet Kune Do,Krav Maga, jiu-jitsu, Wing Chun, Karate....but I love Martial Arts..and it's such a great work out, mentally and harmony.

SURE DO...I believe they will...as long as you doing the Technique correctly!
I interpret this to mean that your issue was NOT with KM itself, inherently; rather, it was the school that presented a bad experience for you.
Well, yes in general; but when schools tout their accreditation and certifications I would expect some type of oversight from the people who supply that certification.
If you want to get back at them review or study your karate. I like gojuryu. Stop wasting your money on this fake art.
Muito bom Mestre, já até gostaria de treinar e aprender com você. Kidá 🤜🏽🤛🏽
That woman basically died about a thousand times in this vid.
Great video, wished u had included the name of the move/technique to be able to relate from the book. This helped my son training for yellow belt and he will use for future belt testing.

Hi Nisar - Krav Maga Alliance does have academies in the UK, currently in Kent, East & West Sussex, Manchester, Whitehaven, Carlisle, and Cheshire.
So much of this only works if the attacker doesnt resist
What i need to start krav maga training at home i mean what weapons , object etc. I don't know there name what you use
Very very good! Thanks for posting👊🔥
I hoping that we can contact train soon as the coronavirus has school on hold due to the quarantine
Do I visualize train at the moment.
What about a situation of multiple attackers?
Awsome video you both are awsome what a nice in 10 minute...thanks
If someone’s been doing KM for 6+ years along with MMA will you test them for black belt?
Thank you so much ftom spain. Very very intuctive and so bautiful!!! I respet you a lote !!!😎
3:51 Did you just do the People's Elbow?
Jason Santiago meanwhile you are on RUclips. 👍
There is no ground work In Krav Maga, what is this?
Do you have an academy in USA, Virginia?
Weak research stupid
Only reason it might get you killed in mma is cause the moves are illegal and you might get jumped my multiple mma guys,i here mma guys say its not real all the time, lol,we don't need an audience nor get to tap out,its very real.MMA is good also but they need shut up about krav maga

It is called shock knive - a training tool that produces an electric shock if the blade touches you.
Is that just the syllabus?
Yes. It started with me wanting to show my interpretation of the KMA curriculum and it turned out to be a much larger project than I ever imagined. I plan to repeat this again in the future after I’ve had enough time to forgot how agonizing it was to edit it all together lol.
excelente demostracion en la accion!!!!!me gustaria conocer mas de este arte de la defensa para mi vida
Are u providing online training ?
If you check out some of our sparring/MMA class videos you can see how we attempt to keep some symmetry for our cross training students while utilizing the footwork, fakes, and jabs more familiar to boxing and Thai.
nay
It is not a martial art. It is a fighting system.
In slow motion please
Is there any protective equipment, perhaps specific to Krav, that allows for full or partial force contact sparring?
This is the same old bald dude doing some weird pajama stuff ruclips.net/video/YkAPE7XUWII/видео.html
so how long to advance thru each belt? and do students were belts?
Every affiliation is a little different. We don’t wear belt in our Krav Maga program. The minimum time I will rank a student to Black Belt is 7 years and they must have have had one full contact fight (can be boxing, KB, or MMA) and be able to competently grapple with a BJJ purple belt.
WOW! Just amazing! And loved the flag of my country there( Brasil).
Is there a purpose to the "sss ss" sounds?
Bryan Varela not the sound itself. It’s just exhaling during the punch. In all athletics breathing is critical. To be honest, in a self defense context, we should be yelling instead. It wouldn’t go over well with our neighbors lol.
I’m new to Self Defense and MMA so I need to ask for my sake:
It seems like KM, as well as other self defense forms, relies on your attacker not knowing how to fight.
KMD Self-Defense very nice assessment.
As well this is only level 1-5 out of 15, so this is only the practitioner level!
I’m going to watch this video 5x at half speed then challenge Chuck Norris to an arm wrestling match.
Wish me luck!
Brilliant work thank you

Paix et amour, respect.
I just want to know. Why is the Philippine flag in that room?
Russel Renz Nerosa hi Russel. We fly the flag from each country of origin of the systems that our academy represents. We have a Kali program as well as Krav Maga, Jiujitsu, and kickboxing.
Can you have a 100kg man and don the drills ?
I like the bear hug defence. Cheers guys
Yep. Krav maga added weapons and striking to it as well.
Morally subdue? you mean controlling a opponent without harming them?
ÓTIMO VÍDEO.

What's with the sound effects
Pretty nice with it
very very nice, but that looks more like mma over KM. Have you ever competed?
Is this KM Worldwide or KM International
My son learning BJJ, I saw a few JJ techniques in this video. Just an observation.
Vladimir L you are correct. You’ll notice a lot of overlap when comparing effective self defense system. Jiujitsu and Krav Maga compliment each other very well.
Krav Maga acknowledges the effectiveness of BJJ in combat.
If you guys like Krav Maga check out American Kenpo (Ed parkers american kenpo). Its like Krav Maga but on steroids :)
Lou,go and test it....
Lou Gualario Everything you’re seeing here minus weapons and groin strikes you’ll see in the octogon. What’s the problem?
Very impressive
Jesse Lee thanks 🙏
Top! Congratulations!!!
This is fkn lit fam🔥

El calvo es GOYO de Crevillente?
I would sooo get myself kicked or hit in the head if practicing these awesome moves. I can just see myself not moving or ducking right and taking a shin straight to the face.
Excelente
Super technique, I love Krav maga
A great move from a guy got green belt ❤
