Blindness you mentioned in the first game is due to the NUCLEAR SUN and its angle. It's so hard to spot enemies when the sun is directly in front of you.

I love early jets. You really need to maintain speed/energy. It’s different. Some props can catch a jet in a early dive however they can keep up after.

I’d still really love to see a video on the Me 410 with the 50mm at 3.0 BR. A similar version of the gun on this jet, at least as far as ammo is concerned. It’s overshadowed by the Duck but overall is a far more effective machine with two 20mm forward guns and 13mm rear guns. Default rounds are the best as it keeps the cost low to spawn and the HE is great for open tops like the M10. Can hit them anywhere and it kills them.
Yes! Just 3.0 Germany in general, it’s such an underrated lineup. Not only do you get to use several very good tanks that are good on different maps (allowing you to always choose something that fits the map), but also, with the 3.3 and 3.7 lineups you’d have to take the same CAS as 3.0 (Me 410 and Bf 109 F-2) to a higher BR, while 3.0 Germany lets you use them at their lowest possible BR. It’s really true that the love the duck gets over the 410 is unjustified. The 410 has deadlier weaponry, much better flight performance, and defensive armament.

I recently started using actual WW2 German tactics in game and they actually work surprisingly enough. I had a dude call me uneducated on my team, proceeded to waffle stomp the entire enemy team with 15 kills in a Tiger and the dude who called me uneducated sat at the bottom of the leaderboard. Would've stopped playing this game if it wasn't for you oddbawz keep up the good work 😂

You probably need to turn down your graphics settings (especially SMAA, MSAA, etc) to fix the stutter issue. It seems to happen the most when you load in new textures (like when you're flying and get close to the ground). If changing settings doesn't fix it you probably just need to replace the GPU with one that has more VRAM, not the entire pc.
he doesnt seem to be reacting to the stutters in gameplay for the most part, if they were happening in gameplay like that it would be nearly impossible to fly. so the stuttering likely isn't realted to the games texture loading, but the recording software skipping frames. something he wouldn't notice in the moment, only on footage review. the reason why it would happen close to the ground is most likely bitrate issues. lots of trees and buildings streaking across the frame super fast, the same thing that can cause things to get really pixel-y when your bitrate is suffering. but for some reason rather than sacrificing the resolution to keep the recording at the same fps, its just dropping the frames it cant capture entirely.
@@foxboy64 He actually mentioned in a previous video that "its also difficult to play like this" so I'm fairly certain it's the game. I also get stutters every handful of minutes in game as well, but it's only in this game. My theory is that it's not his pc that's the issue, but the game itself has something wrong with it with certain hardware. If he's using an AMD gpu then that might be the source as I'm using one as well. Not the card but the way the game interacts with the card, and only somewhat recently. I hadn't started getting stutters until late last year.

But he probably doesn't want to turn the video quality down so changing some settings is a better option. Its something to try at least

I love the Flakpanzer at the low end of ita BR because all the American CAS is used to taking out German Ost/Wirblewind SPAA with guns so they line up for big gun runs. Enough armour to deflect most of it and then eat them up with 37s.

Highly mobile, low profile, fast turret traverse, devastating gun, immune to .50 cal, good reload time for its caliber and it can bounce shots when angled. Deadly when used for flanking. Try using it more aggressively if you're not doing it yet.
It would be fun to see you do another video on the Crusader Mk III, this time where you uptier it to maybe something like either 4.7 or 5.7, to do it you would be able to use the Spitfire Mk IX or Spitfire LF Mk IX (probably one of the best fighters in the game). It is one of my favorite vehicles in the game, just because the 6pdr it has is so effective in a flank, which is also helped by it being so low profile. And scounting to help you team. Cherry on top is the 50 smoke grenades, which is enough to make german tankers jealous.
The picture quality is amazing and the sound was way different as well sounds and looks better but it was breaking up is this 4k? My galaxy s23 ultra should be able to handle anything so I was curious what you did half the time I can never see who's killing you in the kill feed
you know, the ingame info does not have aphe. The animation doesn't show any explosion. Only the card listing the explosive mass gives any sign that it is aphe.
Maybe let’s see the Ju-188? Neither you or Phly have made a video on it before. It’s not like some revolutionary plane but I enjoy using it for CAS when I take out my tiger h1. In the hands of a good player, it can do some damage and it’s got decent protection against pesky fighters.
It feels like explosive mass has changed in recent updates for everything. It's alot less just guaranteed 1 shot with alot of things that used to be. Solid shot feels better to but maybe it's just in my head lol
I wish the Russian propaganda company would finally un-nerf the 262 u4 and the Horten. Their accuracy nerfs make zero sense considering all the OP CAS that’s in game these days
Hey OddBawz, to address your FPS issues, you might want to lower the texture quality and/or lower your resolution to limit your VRAM usage. You can also try and benchmark your performance to see if VRAM is truly the culprit, i see a lot of bushes popping in as you drive past them which could also be a RAM or HDD issue.
You should play the t35 again, maybe even bring a po2 in for close air support, its been a year since you played it last and it's one of the few ways i have fun playing war thunder. c:

The previous video you release with the stutter issue was 2-3 hours after I upgrade my GPU, making me have almost a heart attack, thinking I royally messed up something (I was also replacing my PSU with a stronger one). As a player who is just entering jet era its scary to hear them fly around, I thought I could shoot em down just like prop planes, boy I was wrong

early jet era is bad, the event prop with the red stripes in the US tree could easily wipe them out

Small tip for anyone that plays the me 262 you always have to set your throttle to 98 %so the engines won't overheat.

you know, the ingame info does not have aphe. The animation doesn't show any explosion. Only the card listing the explosive mass gives any sign that it is aphe.

Maybe let’s see the Ju-188? Neither you or Phly have made a video on it before. It’s not like some revolutionary plane but I enjoy using it for CAS when I take out my tiger h1. In the hands of a good player, it can do some damage and it’s got decent protection against pesky fighters.
It feels like explosive mass has changed in recent updates for everything. It's alot less just guaranteed 1 shot with alot of things that used to be. Solid shot feels better to but maybe it's just in my head lol

Hey OddBawz, to address your FPS issues, you might want to lower the texture quality and/or lower your resolution to limit your VRAM usage.
You can also try and benchmark your performance to see if VRAM is truly the culprit, i see a lot of bushes popping in as you drive past them which could also be a RAM or HDD issue.

I have the same fps drop problem with war thunder since years. Changed a lot of hardware, OS etc. but nothing changed it.
would love to see you take out the Concept 3 and then do some Anti-CAS with the Spitfire Mk IX or go bully Pz IV's with the Ystervark

Sorry Odd, but this it too much of a coincidence to me. The previous video you release with the stutter issue was 2-3 hours after I upgrade my GPU, making me have almost a heart attack, thinking I royally messed up something (I was also replacing my PSU with a stronger one).
