    THANK YOU for educating & understanding the cause of BC. Your channel is very informative, it’s worth to subscribe. My first appointment with a local Oncologist on Friday. My BC is acquired between the age of 50-70 (tender) not genetic.

    Thanks for this. If oestrogen is high during pregnancy, then why is it a protective factor for breast cancer?

      Pregnancy reduces the number of total lifetime menstrual cycles during which the breast cells are exposed to cyclical oestrogen. Pregnancy also results in the maturation of the breast cells which means they grow in a more regulated fashion, unlike immature breast cells which are more responsive to oestrogen. www.breastcancer.org/risk/factors/pregnancy_hist#:~:text=The%20immature%20breast%20cells%20respond,helps%20protect%20against%20breast%20cancer.

      The problem is in unopposed estorgen and in pregnancy you have high progesterone too
      That's why it's protective
